Would not buy anything from here again. I bought a loveseat and I paid for delivery $100 . I wasn't aware it would come unassembled in a box. I never had to put a loveseat together. Wasn't a big deal I just could have picked it up myself. And save $100 .there's a difference between picking up a box and picking up a small sofa..After setting up delivery and having someone wait at home half of saturday because the one manager ( a Hispanic guy) couldn't give me a delivery window . I called and spoke with Steve who said the truck was A hour away. I said how is that when it's 2 pm and I was told the day before I would be one of the first deliveries?I told him when I would be there and it didn't get delivered till 7 pm. So if you buy from here it's best to just pick up whatever because the delivery is trash and they'll just tell you whatever. I wouldn't buy any thing but a table from here again because after putting together my loveseat I got to see how cheaply it was made. Steve is a ok manager but he tells customers how he has to straighten out the other guys messes which obviously has some truth to it. And the other manager acts like your bothering him when you follow up about what you paid for and refuses to give a delivery window. Which I've never heard of before and he lies.

Don’t ever shop at this store. The manager Jonathan will lie to you repeatedly about scheduling to deliver your furniture. Waste weeks of your time then blame you as the customer when they couldn’t follow through on delivery. Kept arranging a date for delivery only to repeatedly have the delivery driver call to deliver the couch in 20 minutes. Obviously furniture delivery needs to be scheduled on a certain day.Then Jonathan had the audacity to tell us we have to pick up the couch as they “tried” to deliver. Absolutely ridiculous. Had to cancel the order entirely. Then they would not refund the order even though he said he would. If you enjoy following up constantly for someone to do their job and provide a service then maybe this place would be for you. Scary this person is the manager. The service was so horrific also contacted the Better Business Bureau.

Its good and they have good prices but I didn't find what I was looking for and was expecting it since they sell furnitures here...I was looking for a queen size bed frame that I can use with no box spring

The first time we went to American Freight nobody came out from behind the counter to help us. I ended up going to the counter to ask for help and felt like I was being an inconvenience. We left. I believe in second chances and they had a sectional I really liked so we went back about a month later. The salesman was very nice and answered our questions and helped us alot. We set up delivery for Saturday around 1:00. 1:00 came and went so around 4:00 my husband called to find out what time they would be showing up.He was told their truck broke down and they wouldn't be making deliveries that day. Never got a courtesy call to let us know. Set up the next delivery date for Sat. 4/8 around noon. Keep in mind it's Easter weekend and we have things to do. My husband received a phone call fri night asking him if they could deliver it then. Nobody was home. I called Saturday around 12:30 to see if it was being delivered today and was told yes, they're getting it ready now. 3 hrs pass and no phone call so my husband calls them to find out when it's coming. He was told the delivery guy hurt his wrist and wouldn't be able to deliver. Again no courtesy call. My question is if it was ready to be delivered Friday night why wasn't it ready for Saturday? DO you only have one delivery man. My husband is there taking care of the matter as I write this. This was nothing but a shit show and you deserve none of the money given to you. I would never recommend you to anyone and I sure as hell have no idea how you have 4.8 stars out of 5. I guess all your employees who gave a shit, left. Hopefully my husband makes the right decision and gets his money back bc you don't deserve it.

We arrived at the Lancaster PA location at 1005 am to pick up a item we preordered. We waited outside of the store for 40 minutes before and an employee arrived to open the store. We were frustrated and angry. This put us behind our moving schedule. The employee that showed up to open the store was the only person working at that time. I must say he is the best salesperson I've ever met. He had multiple customers and the phone wouldn't stop ringing. But he remained calm. He was very helpful, respectful and polite. Through it all he kept a smile on his face. DeAndre was an amazing salesperson and should be recognized for it. I will only recommend this store to friends and family because of him. Order MM6KQ3814

I heard about American Freight thru a friend that was happy with them and decided to give them a try as I was looking for new furniture, a mattress and split box springs in particular, and a couch, a love seat, and a chair. They had a mattress in stock and were happy to order the box springs for a reasonable price. I ordered them and was told that they need to be paid in full and we should see those in roughly a month or so. Great! I didn't need them for 3 months so that would be fine. 2 months went by and I had not heard anything, no one saying that these are not coming in or anything, so I gave them a call. I was told that someone would check into it and give me a call back in 20 minutes or so. I waited for 2 days and had not heard anything back so I called them again. I was told the box springs are still on backorder, it could be two or three months till they see them! Great! Thanks for letting me know!?? I decided to go pick up the mattress which was in stock. I got there and said I'm here for my mattress and would like a credit for the two box springs that are not coming in. Ok, well it shows that I already picked my stuff up!? I have not been here for over two months!! The person taking care of us was super tho and was able to get us our mattress, but he could not give a credit without the manager there. The manager was going to be there around 8 to lock up the store so we waited and waited till 8:30 and finally loaded the mattress and left on the terms that the manager will call me in the morning to issue a credit. Fast forward a week? and I finally called to ask about my credit. The manager answered the phone and was able to give me a credit for which I am happy. I feel like there was TERRIBLE communication and a lack of caring about the customer the whole way thru.

This has been the most frustrating, disappointing customer service experience EVER.
We bought our couch set on March 4th and were assured that if we paid for delivery, it would be delivered that week. Perfect.
Wednesday we called and were told yes, it should be delivered by Friday... their delivery driver was unreliable and had been out.
Thursday we called to see if we could get a delivery window for Friday. Nope, but your couches will arrive. Good, because not living room furniture is not ideal.
Friday afternoon, we called as it was getting late, and we were told oh, sorry, the delivery guys are to blame, but your furniture will arrive Sunday. Me: I have your word, Sunday?
Him: Please hold. (Confers with others) Yes. Absolutely.
Sunday, no couches.
My husband calls and is told we cannot have the couches, as they're a floor model and the associate shouldn't have sold them. That associate no longer works there. The problem with that excuse is that there was another employee working as well, who okayed everything, too.
So while my husband is trying to make sense of this with the manager, we get another call, saying we CAN have the sofas, but they won't be delivered Sunday, as promised.
After much back and forth, the manager agrees to waive our delivery fee and assures my husband personally that our furniture will be delivered Monday. Today. By 2pm. At 1:00, my husband calls just to verify everything and the (very rude) employee states we aren't their first delivery, it won't be until after 4pm now. My husband says we were promised 2pm and he will not be home at 4pm, and the employee says we should just leave our doors unlocked and they will bring it in. WHAT?!?!
When my husband says that a) won't be happening and b)is unacceptable, as we were assured delivery by 2pm after some awful experiences, the employee says there are delivery tiers and we should have paid more to ensure our delivery was made a priority.
Again, my husband speaks to the manager and the manager assures us they are going to deliver to us first. Over 2 hours later (it's less than an hour away), they arrive... and the one reclining side of our loveseat is broken. We got a warranty, so I'm hoping that THAT process isn't the nightmare that getting delivery was.

I am so impressed with the service I received from Eddie here at this store . He went above and beyond to help me with a problem that he didn't have to and most other furniture stores would most definitely would have probably not have .If you want to buy great quality furniture at a very reasonable price from HONEST people this is the place to shop ..I can not thank Eddie enough he saved my family and I alot of money and headaches and I'm so grateful. Thank you Eddie!!!

I went there this Saturday to look for a Recliner they didn't have much to choose from but if you are looking for a nice bed or couch that's the place to go . The sales person was really helpful.

Daniel was super helpful! He was running the show by himself and we were in and out pretty quickly! I was impressed by their 5 year protection plan! Will update when we get the couch home and will see how the quality is!
