Haven't been to Lancaster in years was in the area during the week to visit some colleges with my son. Last stop on the way home we decided to stop at the outlets before getting back on the road. When I walked in this store all the workers were just staring. The weather was permitting, I had light jacket on and a crossbody bag which my iphone 11 cant fit and my keys in my hand. 5 workers back to back ask me if I needed help while browsed at some jeans in the same area help which triggered okay did yall think I came to steal? As other people came into the store that were not black, they didn't do that to them. At this point I was being racially targeted. I went over to the lounge wear side just browsing the cashier was ringing up a line full of people and still managed to ask me did i need help. She than asked her co worker to get her a walkie she tried to say it low but i was only a foot away at the underwear table . Shopping while black is not always a pleasant experience. I ended up leaving I refuse to give my money to an establishment that makes me feel uncomfortable. Every black person is not a theif!!!!!

Stopped by today, the outside speech before you enter is aggravating but the staff inside was beyond helpful, they helped me find things I liked, they check sizes for me, and even complimented certain looks. Overall they hold up American eagle’s standard of body positivity and kindness!!! great experience overall.

I NEVER write reviews… but I am very upset about the experiences I’ve had here. I work within the center(Tanger outlets) & never experienced such shockingly awful customer service. This goes specifically to the “aerie” side of the store. Today I wanted to purchase a sweatshirt after I was finished with my shift. Nobody was at the registers- which wasn’t the problem. I simply just looked around to see if anyone had noticed that I’m ready. One associate in particular locked eyes with me and said in a very negative tone “are you ready to check out”… I said “yes- thank you”… I get pure silence. She doesn’t greet me … just asked for my phone #. I kindly gave it to her. Then after she put my items in a bag I said “thank you so much”… I get a dull “yup”. No customer interaction. No “thanks for stopping in”… or even a simple “thank you”. I honestly felt like she wanted to deck me in the face.I get it… I’ve been working retail for many many years. I would NEVER treat a customer the way she did to me in my store.The entire checkout process made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable… and this is probably the last time I will shop at this location. You are better off purchasing online… than feeling guilty for having an associate check you out.

I purchased a pair of shorts that I found on the clearance wall (there was probably 15 additional pairs of the same style there). The shorts were marked 39.95 + 60% off for clearance; after I purchased I noticed they rang up full price. I took them to the cashier to do a price adjustment and was told “best we can do is give you the difference onto a gift card”. Unsure why they wouldn’t just do the price adjustment back to my card, ended up returning the shorts due to this.

I was stopped at the door and asked to explain what I was shopping for, they wanted my phone number and email address before they’d let me in...highly ANNOYING. This type of harassment does not make me want to return.

Team members are disrespectful and snobby. My friend is a associate there and she wanted to use her discount but forgot her debit card so we were going to use my debit card but the girls didn’t let us and said that she would need her own card. MONEY IS MONEY TAKE IT OR WE ARE LEAVING. Pathetic. If I could give a zero star review I would?Hire better employees and maybe that store would get somewhere.

Love the team at this store, well trained. However, twice I was questioned by staff at park city store on the size of something I was buying, with out any request, I was told “this probably is to small for you/ won’t fit you” ??Stand down, you don’t talk to a customer or guest ever like that.
