Silver Maple is the best vet! I recently had to put my cat down and the staff and doctors (especially Dr. Recipko) made sure my cat was comfortable and took the best care of him. Everyone at Silver Maple are the best!

Would definitely recommend! I’m was a little weary of choosing a new vet after moving, cause I have a bigger breed and my girl needs some special arrangements as she doesn’t trust people right away. But the vet techs were amazing with her! They went gently and carefully and made sure to come get us so we wouldn’t have contact with other dogs as well! They had her in and out within 15 minutes. She was all bandaged up, meds and all and the price was good too! I was expecting a lot more! Will definitely be back ☺️

After being under the care of Silver Maple for over three years, my dog's eye issue was consistently undiagnosed and I was never referred to a specialist (which I did not know existed until I searched). I just wish they would have referred me to someone who could have helped.

The first animal my family have had together is our lovely bunny Neville. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Silver Maple so far. I am a crazy pet mama and they do not treat me like I am crazy or annoying. I also can’t rave enough about the cost of services. It far exceeds my expectations price wise for the great care my fur-baby has received so far.

My 7yr Great Dane become sick and with no help from our original vet office I called silver maple. They made an appointment for the same day and called back shortly after and gave us a cancellation spot, took her right in, gave x rays, took blood and gave me a diagnosis within 30 mins. Had her emergency surgery same day. Called me with updates throughout the day even (which never happened in past)!! They were so kind and wonderful and even called the next day to check in on her, showing they do really care! Also, want to add that; although surgery will always be expensive I don’t feel like I was over charged!! Both of my dogs will now be going to silver maple from this point on!

To say I am not happy is an understatement. Took my dog in on Friday to have stitches removed and they caused more damage to her ear removing them. They took a chunk out of the tip which you can see in the first photo was there prior to removal. Not only is a chunk missing but other stitches were torn out leaving more rips.

Having 3 dogs and changing vets seemed stressful. Calling and making appointments were always 3 different days or 2 one day and another next. At Silver Maple it was no problem scheduling them all at the same time. All questioned answered be for the appointments. When we drove up.. we were told to use a very easy texting messaging system. Telling them we were there. We watched how the assistants came out to each car with a clipboard (all wearing face masks) and a leash. Very organized. When it was our turn.. they came took each dog with care. Asking about them.. how 2 handle personality etc. Dogs barking away. Took each one in. After about hour.. which we didn't mine at all..3 dogs.. the vet called and went over each dog, what shoots were given. Also how she took time to introduce herself to each dog so not to over whelm them. Every question was answered! It was so nice to hear how kind they were. We give the 5 paw star

I have had three golden retrievers over 39 years. That is how long I had been going to Silver Maple. Although I rarely had the same vet twice my three boys generally seemed to receive good care. (Note: The veterinary doctor turnover here is regular.) Things changed recently. The owner of the business was the attending vet when my pup needed care. My current golden is the gentlest friendliest dog on the planet. Due to virus circumstances, I had to drop him off rather than take him in. Three different vets prescribed hundreds of dollars in meds over the better part of a month. A special dog food was also prescribed. The limitations of the virus were significant but I paid what they asked. The canned food prescribed gave him diarrhea on top of the symptoms for which I took him in. I was concerned that we kept throwing expensive drugs and food at the problem with no success. When I called for information, the vet was often not in. He would respond via his cell. His caller i.d. was disabled so when my cell rang with an incoming call from "unknown" the first time, I didn't answer. When we finally talked, he had no notes and relied on me to tell him what we had done so far. As I attempted to fill him in, he would cut me off, rarely letting me finish a sentence. I took my pup in for a battery of tests. They kept him for an afternoon. When he got home he had a hairless patch just under his left eye that he didn't have before he went in. I was concerned. I called about it. They had just closed so I left a message with the answering service. Another vet returned my call. I was told no one knew anything about it. They said he must have rubbed the hair off on the cage in which he was confined. I voiced my concern. Dr. Sam eventually felt an endoscopy was required. They wanted to keep him for a day again. Due to the virus, the office was communicating in various ways. I emailed to ask they please take good care of him. Dr. Sam called to tell me he thought I was being "irritable" with his staff. HE was irritable and had an angry tone. I was never once voiced my concern in an unprofessional way. I told him I was shocked by this. He finally admitted that I had always been respectful and professional dealing with him. The day of the procedure, I emailed again to request they keep an eye on my little buddy. Dr. Sam called me and once again, in a very agitated voice told me "come get your dog." He was not going to do the endoscopy. He added angrily there would be no charge. No charge? Since they didn't do anything, I considered this to be an acerbic remark. One never knows what is going on in someone's life. Everyone is stressed during these times. Maybe this doctor is undergoing some extreme stress. That is NO excuse for this level of unprofessionalism. Given the circumstances, I feel the need to let others know what happened to us. We found another vet with less stress.

Silver Maple always provides the best care for my animals. End of life care for one of our cats was treated delicately. My somewhat reactive dog is treated no differently despite his fears of shots and temperature checks. They have been there for me in a time of emergency when they certainly didn't have to be as well. I am very grateful for everything they have done and continue to do for our family.

We recently had to put our Mastiff Charley down. He was a new patient because he was so old we could not get him into a car for years because of his legs. The technician and Doctor were so kind and helpful. It was a very difficult day and they made it much easier. Highly recommend this vet.
