This is the best drug store I’ve ever dealt with. The pharmacy staff are amazing, always so nice and the pharmacist has always gone above and beyond. The front register woman always greets me and is so pleasant.

As a Latina customer, I recently encountered an unfortunate situation at my local Rite Aid pharmacy in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Regrettably, I was met with resistance when attempting to fill my prescription.1. Refusal to Fill: Upon presenting my prescription, I was shocked when the pharmacist hesitated and then outright refused to fill it. Their reason? My ethnicity. It’s disheartening to think that in this day and age, such discriminatory practices persist.2. Emotional Impact: As someone who relies on timely access to medication, this refusal left me feeling vulnerable and marginalized. I wondered if my background influenced their decision. No one should face such bias when seeking essential healthcare services.3. Seeking Resolution: I politely asked for clarification, hoping there was a misunderstanding. However, the pharmacist remained firm. I left the store feeling frustrated and unheard. It’s essential that Rite Aid addresses these incidents promptly and educates its staff on cultural sensitivity.4. Advocacy and Awareness: I encourage Rite Aid to reevaluate its policies and ensure that no customer faces discrimination based on ethnicity, race, or any other factor. As a community, we must stand against such practices and advocate for equal treatment. In summary, my experience at Rite Aid was deeply disappointing. I hope that the company takes steps to rectify this situation and fosters an environment of inclusivity and respect for all patrons.

This review it’s not cause about money. !!It’s cause they were not nice and rude.Don’t know because my ethnicity (Latino) or why.I made an appointment for my Covid booster yesterday at the RITE AID here in kutztown to get my Covid vaccine today . I fill my application, and one part of the application asked if I have insurance or not, Then i put not . Then, when I get there to my appointment the technician didn’t ask about my form of pay the vaccine, till like 25 minutes after when she was ready she asked me if I have insurance and I said not. I put in my application that I don’t have insurance. Then the doctor in charge came out very very rude and telling me well ! she was screaming ¡IF YOU NOT HAVE !$128 bucks cash you can’t get the vaccine cause it’s not free anymore. Then I said I put my other vaccine here ,Then the technician said again not , it’s not free anymore if you don’t have the insurance or $128 bucks you can’t. I was very surprised cause the way how was treated. They were not nice at all It’s not about that I didn’t want to pay for the vaccine . The point is how I was treated and Of course I could pay $128 bucks. There is a lot people outside like me that we don’t have insurance, they have to specify in the website, then we will know in advance.

Always go to this location. Brenda is always friendly and very helpful. The only negative is the upkeep of the outside. The retaining wall is coming apart, the wooden fence needs numerous repairs, and the grass gets too high. It’s a neighborhood store and should be better looked after.

We switched from CVS Kutztown to Rite Aid and best decision we ever made. We don't have to wait in horrible lines or for Rx to take long to be filled. I love the drive thru since we have kids and it's a hassle to get them in and out of the car. The pharmacists have always been able to answer my questions - they're a great resource instead of having to contact the Dr. for a small question about medications and reactions. Thank you Rite Aid team!Oh and forgot to mention how clean and sleek it always looks inside, instead of carpeted/dingy/dirty/cluttered look of CVS Kutztown.
