“The gentleman, Heath did a great job and was honest with us. He allowed for us to ask many questions and change our minds and debate on multiple items. When he had a rush of people ( Maybe, five in total) he helped all of them even bringing out to their items out to their truck and answered their questions. He did a wonderful job and was very knowledgeable.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful experience purchasing a polywood outdoor patio set. They didn't have the style we wanted on display so the Sales Manager, Marlin, went to their warehouse with his colleague and built it for us in under 30 mins. This allowed us to try out the set and see firsthand the excellent quality of the product. Marlin was polite, knowledgeable, and patient. He spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. We were blown away by the high level of customer service. We will be buying more furniture here in the future!”

“If you're in the Bird in Hand-Intercourse area you have to visit this store. They have Amish furniture on display including tables, cabinets etc. But they also feature table tops made of various domestic hardwoods, such as the hard-to-find chestnut. Most of their wood comes from reclaimed barnwood. An amazing store.”
“I shopped here a decade ago and the items were so much nicer. They had beautiful Wrought iron pieces outside and most of the furniture and crafts were made in America.Now almost everything was made in China and resin to look like wood.It's unfortunate that the shoppers aren't able to see the beautiful rustic store that it used to be.Did the souvenir shops in town buy most of the same items from China?”
“On any given Saturday in Lancaster you can find chicken and rib bbq literally every where you look. One of our favorites is the chicken bbq dinners at Kings Kountry store. The store is a family run business and the bbq is no different. Half chicken, Cole slaw, baked potato and roll for around $12. There’s tables to sit and eat there or take it for the road. The food is good, but it’s also nice to support local family businesses. The big chain restaurants can survive without your money!”

“20 years ago I bought a beautiful Amish oak kitchen table and chairs plus benches and bar stools from John Horning. I raised my family with these in our kitchen and they looked wonderful, wore like steel and were perfect the entire time. Good friends of ours also purchased at the same time and are still using theirs. We recently completely changed our style and needed to change the look. We sold all of the original pieces to one person retaining more than half the original value. And we returned to John and now his son Andrew for a new table. See pictures. (the chairs we purchased elsewhere) And this time our son and his wife purchased a new table and chairs for their new home. John and Andrew Horning are the BEST furniture makers I know of and their prices beat any I know of.”

“I’ve purchased many pieces of furniture from Newswangers over the years. Recently I had a failure with my Lazy Boy recliner, I called the store to see what options were available for a replacement chair to buy, fully anticipating on buying a new 1. They informed me that the parts are a lifetime warranty and if they could find them they would be covered at no charge for the parts. They got the parts in a timely manner and replaced them the next day! Mind you this chair was purchased over 14yrs ago and they could’ve easily just brushed it off and told me parts aren’t available and sold me a new chair but they took the time to take care of the customer. I’m beyond happy and they were top notch from the initial call to the technician completing the repairs. It’s hard to find this kind of customer service these days but 1 things for sure…. I will never buy a piece of furniture from another company!! Thank you Newswangers”
