I just had a wonderful experience! My kitty came down with some sudden GI issues. Our previous vet had retired and I hadn't found a new one yet. Rather than going to the pet emergency, I was able to get in same day at Black Horse. It was a great visit from start to finish. Prices were very reasonable, the environment was calm for my kitty, and I loved the way the vet discussed treatment options with me. I will be recommending Black Horse to everyone!

The surgical care provided to my puppy, Sally, for her inguinal hernia was wonderful. The doctor displayed great skill, and Sally's surgery was a success. I'm grateful for his excellent care. Thank you, Black Horse Animal Hospital!

Had an emergency with my MIL's dog at 12:30 on a Saturday, there was a dog fight and I needed him checked out quick and antibiotics. Easy, right? When I call, Jacquelyn answers and starts with "well... We close in two and a half hours and the doctor takes an hour to get here", to which I reply "that's fine, we are local and can be there in ten minutes or less, I'll wait".
She just straight up rejects to see us because "there's only two and a half hours until we close".
Don't call yourself a hospital if you refuse to provide routine hospital services. Absolutely outrageous.
OH AND I just read through all the reviews, someone else mentioned they needed a Saturday appointment and they were told "Saturdays are for emergencies only". REALLY? ARE YOU SERIOUS? I think Jacquelyn just didn't feel like working her shift, love it when people just don't feel like doing their jobs. It's super cute and not at all reprehensible. ?

Vets are amazing it's the staff that is HORRIBLE. I requested my dogs shot records 6 times! I needed them for my dog to be boarded. I requested SEVERAL times. It took me going in person to finally get them! He could not be boarded today due to staffs negligence. I requested to speak with a supervisor and still no response. Will be looking for a new vet

This clinic is about 40 minutes away from me. But this is the first time for me at this clinic and I am very satisfied. I've had my kitten's vaccinations here. And it's just a super good experience. Now I will always go here!

Updated to add 5 of 9 puppies died.
Dog was scheduled to have a c section Tuesday. She was showing signs a few days ago.I called and spoke to one guy who was just condescending, the Second Lady was actually informative. She made it to Tuesday. They pushed her to tomorrow saying she wasn’t ready. The puppy she just pushed out said otherwise.
