Easiest process ever, I signed up through mindbody and was given a key fob when I walked in. One of the cleanest/nicest gyms in luzerne county.

When will we be able to stop these deceptive marketing schemes?! I was called in for a FREE trial and then sold a plate of we will help you or your money back only if you complete the program. I was told because my commute was far, if I couldn’t complete it, they would work with me on partial payment . When I couldn’t complete it due to the 1.5 hour roundtrip commute, and asked them NOT to charge me the remainder, they said , Sucker! You signed a contract too bad! Well of course they didn’t say it like that, but BE WARNED what you sign is WAY more important than what say verbally! Unfortunately, I have no legal recourse! BUYER BEWARE!

Scam. They took $150 from me for a FREE 6 week challenge. They won't let me complete the challenge. I've only done 3 weeks. They're lying snakes. They're also way more expensive than any other gym membership.Don't fall for the "FREE" challenge scam. Look anywhere else for a gym membership. I still can't believe they screwed me out of $150 for just 3 weeks.

Just finished the 6 week challenge. Its a game changer if you stick to it. Lost 11 pounds. Body fat decrease of 6%. Clean, modern facility. Helpful staff. Pricy, but worth every penny.

I wanted to like it. But this was the worst experience. 1st: the sales rep *aldo* lied to me and my husband. Informed us we would be able to pay $54/month WITHOUT COMMITMENT after our challenge. We were informed later that was a lie and they can’t do it unless I pay 6 months in full. Unfortunately the only clean gym in the area with good yoga classes (before Crunch came to town) we signed up. 2)I have made it clear NUMEROUS times with the front desk, sales rep, and emails that after my 6 month commitment is up (february 22nd, i checked with them) that I would not be renewing and moving to another local gym. 3) NOW (march) i am getting calls and texts and emails stating I am 2 months “behind” on payment (? Even though I cancelled and it definitely wouldn’t be 2 months since we are only in march) and the staff member who calls me is very rude as well. Fun fact: most of the trainers/customers from Vive workout up at the gym I go to now. Funny how that works.Fix your system, get sales reps that don’t lie, get some trainers that actually like your company, and for the love of god, stop calling me.

Vive has a lot of excellent trainers like Nicole, Tom, Ty, Alex & Emily. It also has a ton of modern equipment. However, it is reflected in the cost. The rating would be a five if the prices were not as high.

Vive provides great value to their members. I have done group PT, personal training & a few different group exercise classes.Modern/updated and clean facilities & equipment, great staff, lots of options for group exercise classes & personal training.Ty Blokzyl has been my trainer for over a year and I have nothing but praise. He has an upbeat but laid back, positive, & good humored attitude and an obvious passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. He tailors workouts to his client’s individual needs & goals and is always able to think on his feet when you want to do something different or target a new area or even if you’re just curious about a crazy move you saw someone doing on social media, proving that he is very interested in & knowledgeable about different fitness perspectives/trends/techniques. Highly recommend!PS: Shout out to Tom who teaches yin yoga - top notch. His classes make me feel good— body and soul— every time!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & MISLEADING MEMBERSHIP ADVISORS!!!!!Over the summer I inquired through the Vive’s Instagram Ad about there “Free 6 week challenge”. I quote the free six weeks because that is what is advertised anywhere! There is no fine print on the adds about any fees. On 7/14/22 I had a meeting with there advisor Aldo who went over the program with me about nutrition and fitness requirements. He then proceeded to tell me there is a deposit that is taken until the challenge is completed to ensure that they can pay there trainers and that people don’t just use the Vive for 2 weeks and quit the challenge. He said is was almost $500 if I paid that day or $99 a week for six weeks. I was hesitant and asked if I had to make a decision then and there he said yes. He also said “ if it’s a money issue we can change the payment date” I told him that wasn’t it and kind of made a face for a second. He then said “ As long as you complete the challenge you will get your deposit back.” The challenge was completed for me on 8/25/22 where I met with my trainer who was going over personal training options that I can use my deposit towards. I told him I don’t know if that’s something I would want to do. The sales guy popped his head in and said hi to the trainer. The trainer asked him to talk to me and he said “no you got it.” The trainer than proceeded to say “ I’m not in sales. I’m not good at selling people things they don’t need.” Remembering that Aldo told me I can get my deposit back at the end I called the Vive on 8/29 around 1pm when the lady on the phone was very judgemental and after asking about getting my deposit back she told Aldo would call me back and took my name and number. On 8/30 I called again explaining to Lisa who answered the phone what I asked yesterday and she said in the rudest tone “you can’t get your deposit back it specifically states that in the contract.” I was taken back and explained to her that Aldo had told me that I would get my deposit back as long as I completed the challenge. She again repeated herself again in a rude tone. I explained to her that that wasn’t what I was told. Now being extremely annoyed and upset I asked if my deposit will expire since I started a new job and work 12 hour shifts in a hospital. She then said let me take your name and number and someone will call you. I thanked her and hung up. On top of this a few weeks ago I was waiting for my halfway meeting with my trainer and I overheard a conversation with a man talking to the ladies at the front desk about memberships. He asked if they had a military discount, any discounts for signing a six-month contract or a one-year contract, and any other programs that they had. They proceeded to tell him about some percentages off membership packages if you sign a certain contract. He ask them if they can give him this information in writing and they said that they are not supposed to give the information in writing. It is 9/1/2022 and I have yet to receive a call from anyone. This is the 2nd time in my life I have ever complained about anything. Not only the Vive Health & Fitness con me, but they are withholding major information from there members and potential members. I was already hesitant about giving a deposit and they didn’t care. All they cared about was the money. I am never one to complain, but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else due to false advertising and misleading employees. This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. Even if this didn’t happen to me I wouldn’t have stuck with the Vive. I don’t recommend to anyone at any age. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Disappointed in the customer accounts service reps...don't expect to see any money back after paying for services you haven't used and have relocated out of the area. The training staff and facility should get 5 stars...customer service requires the score I gave.
