If I could give 0 stars to this experience I would. I came in to register for my wedding. While we were being “helped” to make a registry, we were ignored for a phone call. Then, we had issues with being able to access our account on the app because no one made an account for us. We had to figure it out ourselves because no one knew how it worked. The knife demonstration person was particularly rude, and generally everyone was giving weird looks and unsolicited opinions.
If you want to register with Williams-Sonoma DO NOT. Or at least DO NOT go to this location.

Until management changes, I don’t think I’ll ever shop here again. I was unsatisfied with a purchase and returned it within the 30 days per company policy. I had spoke with Customer Service for the company over the phone and was told an exchange for a different brand or return would be honored. I was given the 9th degree. Had the employees test the machine in front of me then had the manager Dee Dee chastise me on how “it’s a very nice machine” and how it’s “very sensitive” as if I’ve never owned anything nice in my entire life.
Ever get so turned off and treated in a way where you feel so othered that you’d do anything for the interaction to end? Well I just nodded my head and took an exchange for the same item because i didn’t have the energy or time to give people who are clearly so unversed in providing good customer service. I was so upset by the way I was treated I did a blind return with the assistance of Williams-Sonomas online customer service.
The customer service for a normal purchase has always been iffy here, but I will definitely not be returning and making all my purchases online moving forward. I’m guessing to be treated well there is a certain demographic you have to fit… I’ll make sure I get a blow-out and have my Sunday best on if I ever decide to enter this store ever again. We all know that shouldn’t matter though…

This store needs a lesson in customer service. They are unbelievably inflexible on returns, hiding behind their “policy from corporate” and shame on corporate for lacking the initiative to empower employees to do what is right for the customer. We could not remember what card our transaction was on and the ones we tried were not working. Despite another employee relaying to the manager that they remembered ringing us up for it when we originally purchased the items, they said the best they could do is an exchange on the spot. They refused to issue store credit for future use even though I let them know that shopping right now was not feasible with a 6 month old puppy in the car. Luckily my husband found the correct card so we were able to get a full refund and leave, but this is the most frustrating experience I have had shopping in years. The staff could not even perform a basic customer service gesture and turned what should have been a quick return into an unnecessary lost customer. Will not be returning to this location or to Williams Sonoma again. Do better.

We've shopped here for years and purchased a Christmas Stolen only to have our son bring one to us from a Canadian German bakery days later. Since we didn't want two, we tried to return to the King of Prussia store before Christmas and were told food items were not returnable. Unopened food items are returnable at other stores and there are no signs mentioning this in the store nor do they inform you at the cash register. Had we known, we would have called our son beforehand to prevent this duplication. Our stolen cost more than $42 and we had no use for it. These store policies are fine, unless they're not made public. The main office said it's up to stores and this store manager wouldn't budge. No more shopping here for us.

Unfortunately, The lady I delt with today was super rude and unhelpful I was not able to return my package with a receipt .... I had to call and get UPS to do it. How inconvenient to then get my EGift card.

Took 3 months for 4/7 items to arrive.Lotion was discolored.Totally misrepresented back order stated 3-4 weeks.I’m done. I’m actually glad this happened so I can check that place off my list???

Only reason it’s getting 2 stars is because I love Williams Sonoma outside of my past experience. This review specifically pertains to the KoP location. Purchased a coffee machine as an upgrade to our old one. Was not happy with it. Just wasn’t what we were expecting. Decided to stick with our old machine. The return policy clearly states if you’re unhappy with a purchase for any reason just bring it back. Packed everything up and when I attempted to return, was denied due to it being used and they “no longer do buy to try”. We weren’t buying to try. We were buying to keep but were unhappy with it. Called customer service and they happily took it back and were also confused why the store would accept return. Cost me money to properly package up and ship back as well. Maybe the store employees can reread the return policy.

Made a quick stop in today for a Mother’s Day gift. The staff was excellent. They were very willing to help and knowledgeable. Customer service is a dying art most places, but not here.Highly recommend.

Nice selection of kitchen implements, cooking equipment, table wares, and gourmet foods. Very helpful staff. It always smells yummy when you walk into this store.

I love William Sonoma, this is one of my favorite go to spots for Gifts for family, friends, and myself. ?. The staff is always friendly and helpful, I make sure to shop here is person because I never want the King of Prussia location to close. Thank you for always helping with our culinary needs!
