Visitors center has a brief film about the park. It's 19 minutes and is free.

Fantastic place to visit. The staff at the visitor center was very helpful. Answered any and all questions on the park as well as Philadelphia in general. Very worth while to relax and take the trolley tour.

Be sure to take the Park Trolley Tour when you visit Valley Forge National Park. Our guide Mary Kay was the best! She made history come alive! Best 90 minutes Ive had on a tour. Mary Kay kept us engaged and could envision the encampment as a Revolutionary Soldier. Took us back in time, fascinating! Sign up inside at the Encampment Store.

Amazing store and friendly/knowledgeable staff! They always throw great events for US Holidays like the annual July 4 picnic that is fun for the whole family. Drinks and snacks for sale come in handy after a long hike and they have some of the best souvenirs I've seen at a national park to help remember your visit.

A group of us took the Trolley tour of Valley Forge park this past Vesterans Day and it was one of the most fascinating 90 minutes we ever enjoyed! Bree, our guide, must have lived through the Revolution in another life: her knowledge of the people, places and events made this history come alive. Just driving around on your own will not do this site justice the way the tour did. Sign up at the Encampment Store, you'll be glad you did!
