Took a cooking class - learned a lot, had a blast, and got to eat Lobster Ravioli with a fennel salad and crostini. I’m excited to try another dish. Great way to spend a night out!If you take a class, you get 10% off in the store which is just full of all things cooking/kitchen.There’s a restroom inside the store so no need to go back out into the mall while taking the class. We didn’t realize we could bring a bottle of wine to enjoy during the class but definitely will when we try this again.

I really loved the pasta/chicken parm/alfredo cooking class here with my mom and sister. We were paired up with another group for making the pasta, which was luckily fine, but I know that may be out of comfort level for some people. They are amazing about accommodating food restrictions so be sure to let the teacher/chef know before class starts. My only complaint was that I didn’t get to bring my leftovers home, but if you bring your own Tupperware they can’t stop you I don’t think. I wish I hadn’t had to cook dinner after going haha.

I purchased several $100 of items as gifts for the holidays. It turns out that if an item is defective, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return or exchange. One of the items I bought was opened on Christmas and it fell apart. I called Customer service and since I purchased the item on 11/20/2023 and today is 12/26/2023 they will not give me any satisfaction for the item.I will never buy another item from Sur La Table and I will make sure no one in my family or friend group does either.

My girlfriend and I attend a sushi making class. It was a blast. The chef was friendly and knowledgeable. It was an amazing experience, and we signed up for our second class before we even left. Shout out to Chef Cristina for being an awesome teacher.

My boyfriend and I had a cooking class at king of Prussia. We loved it. It was a date night steakhouse specials. Food portion was small. But Chef Nelly was super nice and funny. Loved her class. We had a great date night. We'll be back.

We took the handmade ravioli class and it was so fun! Our instructor was knowledgeable and fun and all of the store employees were helpful and kind. My only complaint is that the online menu(and recipe packet sent after class) said we were making pumpkin ravioli with brown butter sauce and then cheese ravioli with tomato sauce. in class, our instructor put the tomato sauce on the pumpkin ravioli, which was a weird flavor. i’m curious why we didn’t follow the recipes that were listed when we signed up. Other than that, everything was great and i’d love to come back.

Sur la Table classes are awesome. Date Night Oct 6th was our 3rd one. Great idea for holiday, birthday, or anniversary, etc. gifts! The staff at King of Prussia is very knowledgable. Oct 6th class was a different format from what we were used to. Instead of each group having its own tray of supplies, this time each person only got to prepare one ingredient. I found that I missed a lot of details doing it that way. (ie: someone on the other side of the room is prepping an ingedient and someone at the front of the room is cooking another ingredient, meanwhile you are trying to chop up whatever ingredient you were assigned... my brain found it very difficult to track all that.) I didn't really feel I learned much about the ingredients that I had no part in preparing. I personally prefer the other method where your group of 4 gets to prepare its own entire meal. You learn more that way. That said - the class was still fun and we enjoyed meeting other people who like to cook! And - we already signed up for another one!

I Scheduled a cooking class in the store--right after a class we attended in July--for Sepetember. Unfortunately we had to cancel and wanted to reschedule for a later date. We reached out to their customer service via email 5 days prior to class. Received two emails stating they received our request. The first one said they would get back to us in 1-2 days. The second one stated a ticket number and would get back to us ASAP. Since tonight was the class and we received no other communication, I called the store. They said to call customer service. I did and a very rude man proceeded to read me their cancellation policy which apparently states they need 48 hours notice by phone. The fact that we emailed 5 days prior had no bearing on this guy since we didn't call 48 hours prior. I asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times as he proceeded to continue to read the cancellation policy to me- finally he put me on hold, came back a few minutes later and said supervisor was not available and that they'd get back to me in 24 hours. I offered to hold until someone was available. He said their policy was not to have any one hold for a long time but he would put an urgency note and someone would get back to me in 2-3 hours. Obviously no one called me back. No one responded to emails and I am now out $150 all because I emailed my cancellation rather than phone it in. Why have email correspondence in the first place if you don't read your emails? why respond to emails saying you will get back to the sender if you have no intention of doing so? I was looking forward to rescheduling the class but never again will I even walk into that store

Very kind and inviting manager, and nice staff in general! We were offered free espressos with their espresso machine when just browsing, and there was also water with lemon, mint, and blueberries available! The store was large and impressive with a very nice selection of cookware. Definitely worth checking out even if you're not big into cooking.

Unprofessional, not hygienic, had nothing to drink with dinner other than lemon water. Got a “thank you” email from someone that was not the “chef” that “taught” the class yesterday afternoon. The leeks were unwashed, had literal dirt on them. The pasta that was being stretched brushed against the trash can. Used some frayed piece of cloth to cover pasta. Overall not a pleasant experience. Will never purchase again.

I purchased a large wooden spoon as a Xmas gift for my daughter and it definitely has a manufacturing defect. I sent them a pictures and all the supporting documents and their only response was that it's passed their 30 day return policy. I get that if it was just to return an item but this was definitely a manufacturing defect. I would have liked to attach a photo here but it won't post. just want to warn a potential buyer that if something is defective and it's past 30 days you might as well just throw it away because you will not get anywhere with their customer service
