The Alloy is a wonderful place to stay in King Of Prussia. The room was comfortable and stylish, and the folks behind the desk were incredibly helpful. I was especially impressed with the barista at the grab-and-go breakfast spot downstairs. She was friendly and thoughtful. The bar was hopping in the best way! Great energy every night without being crowded.
Rooms: Clean and stylish.
Nearby activities: The largest mall in the United States is nearly walking distance. From Tiffany Diamonds to Prada Shoes--the world is your oyster.

I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and empathy with the staff here. I booked a room with 2 queen beds ( for party of 3) via Priceline 2 weeks before my arrival. I should’ve anticipated what was awaiting me before my arrival as I was trying to call the hotel 4 hours before my arrival to ask if the room had an ironing board- was on hold for 20 minutes got hung up on and called the second time and waited another 15 minutes before someone answered. I arrived at 2am to check in, went up to my room only to find out the room had one king bed and pull out couch (a junior suite) whereas I paid for 2 queen beds because a family member traveling with me needs a bed for themselves due to medical reasons. Concerned about a possible mix up I go down to reception to notify I got the wrong room to which the reply was, we don’t have the room you booked we’re all sold out so we upgraded you to what was available. Strike 1- the reception employee knew I wasn’t going to get the room I paid for and failed to notify me before I went up. I asked the reception why I wasn’t notified of this before my arrival to which she replied well you should’ve called beforehand to make sure you were going to get the room you paid for. I’m sorry since when do we have to follow up on reservations that are 100% fully paid for weeks in advance? And in my case I did try to call the hotel about something totally different than my reservation but they couldn’t even answer their phones in a timely fashion. I tried to explain to the reception that there was a reason I specially booked that room due to a medical condition and had someone told me about the change I would’ve made accommodations of my own to which the reply was well we can cancel the reservation if you want entirely and refund you- so at 230am the staff here expected me to hunt for another room. It seems like this hotel was having an event which is why they were probably sold out and I get it- but why did I have to be inconvenienced when I am also a paying customer? I should’ve been notified about the changes well in advance so I could’ve planned ahead. Above all the lack of empathy was uncalled for. No sorry, no apologies, and I was expected to clean up the mess I didn’t make; the staff here does not care about their guests. Take your money somewhere else folks.

I stayed at the hotel to run a work event over three days. The decor is lovely, the location is alright but can’t really walk to anywhere nearby since it’s on a busy road, maybe that’s to be expected. The room is pretty average, the beds were comfortable, my fridge didn’t work and had a bad smell to it so I didn’t use. The aircon seems old and loud as well. My lower rating is mainly for the front of house staff on the check in desk who were rude and surly. They incorrectly charged me and my colleagues for our rooms when it was meant to be billed to our company and it took the events manager to sort out. I went down to the lobby in the early hours of the morning needing painkillers as I was unwell, I tried to purchase at the little kiosk, it wouldn’t take my card nor charge to my room name and number. I asked for help at the front desk which was not given. I returned to my room. The events team, AV team and catering staff involved in our event were all lovely and accommodating as were the Hammer and Fire restaurant staff, they were all great. Oh and there wasn’t a ‘famous cookie’ on check in either.

I was there attending a conference, check in was easy. And the first night was great. The 2nd night I was in my room late afternoon working when an employee walked in. He apologized. I was supposed to go to an event downstairs at 8 pm when a security guard knocked on my room. He said that the front desk wanted to know who was in the room. I was confused as I had a 2 night booking. I called downstairs and the front desk was like we only showed you for one night. ( When I checked in she stated 2 nights and I said yes plus I had the reservation screen on my phone showing 2 nights!) Needless to say I missed my event and it was not squared until 9:30! I would expect better from a Hilton.

I stayed there for a couple of nights while being there for work.
The rooms are huge which is great!
I had a very unpleasant situation when someone opened the door to my room and tried to walk in just when i was walking out of the shower in a towel!!! It was a horrible experience.
I rang the reception and told them what happened and asked how is it possible that someone has a working card to my room - she said that she will check this out and that maybe one of the maintenance guys went to the wrong room! She promised to come back to me with the explanation - this onbviously never happened! This is totally unacceptable!
I didn't feel safe for the rest of my stay.

There was no hot water for our shower. Room 716.
Walkability: We have been here before. Nice to see a real elevator to lower level.
Food & drinks: Good food for us gluten-free, wheat allergy, seafood allergy. Really appreciated the chocolate cake Friday night and the care of the wait staff

The meal was OK, the sirloin was cooked in a very peppery gravy, the servers did a great job

Recently, my organization had a State Conference at the Alloy Hotel. We were there for 4 days with a registration of over 400. During the event, we had 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, and a banquet with each of these events ranging from 100-280 people attending.
The rooms were quickly turned over for each new event and the food was very good for such a large group. Since we are a non-profit, costs are always a concern, and the Alloy set reasonable rates.
The essential part of our great experience was working with Sales Coordinator Julia Grasch. She is a true professional and very caring about the details. I could not recommend her more highly. Other stand-outs include Banquet managers Stephen and Malcom.
