Needed service, everything handled smoothly. Beyond the basics, Pierre at the boutique is esp. knowledgeable and friendly, exactly the type of representative you want for the brand. I wish I could buy more watches from him specifically, ha (if only, right). If you’re curious about the brand, Pierre is who I would start with.

I visited the Panerai boutique in KoP Mall about 1 month ago because I needed the bracelet on my PAM 283 resized. This is an unusual titanium bracelet with lots of hidden mechanisms, and as such is not the kind one can add or remove links to at home. When I arrived, Pierre, the head salesperson, was charming and gracious, and immediately offered to resize the bracelet right then. He took it to the back, while I chatted with other sales staff and enjoyed a complimentary espresso and chocolate. When Pierre returned, we evaluated the fit and agreed that it could be improved, so he took it back again. In each case, he spent 15-20 minutes working on the bracelet. Finally, when he brought it back the second time, it was perfect. When I asked him for the bill for his time and effort, he told me it was on the house -- WOW!As a result, I was so impressed that I brought my friend out a couple of weeks later. He also had the same, relatively rare model, and his bracelet was failing at a particular link. He had been told by other Panerai ADs that the bracelet was worn out and needed to be replaced (at great cost), but I suggested that we show it to Pierre to see if he could help. Pierre was initially concerned, but said he would take it back to his bench to see what could be done. Again, he did it while we waited, and after 45 minutes he returned, having successfully substituted a spare link for the one which was failing, thus saving my friend the great expense of purchasing a whole new bracelet.All of this is to say that I think this boutique, and Pierre in particular, is a fantastic representative of Panerai, and I would not hesitate to visit them for all of my future Panerai needs.
