In my opinion, this LabCorp site is in violation of compliance and regulatory handling of specimen samples. I needed a urinalysis and blood draw. The technician, who never identified herself, gave me a paper cup for the urine sample; not a sterile sealed plastic cup. The paper cup was exactly like a regular to-go coffee cup - openly exposed sitting out in a stack on the checkin desk. As for my bloodwork, I needed 5 tubes and my vein gave out after the fourth. The technician took the needle out, then took off the cap of the empty tube; with an ungloved hand; then took the top off of one of my full tubes and proceed to pour my blood from the full tube to the empty tube!!! There is no way this is an acceptable standard practice and is 100% unsanitary. There is no phone number for LabCorp and the PA dept of Health said they do not regulate the handling of specimen at outpatient labs. I will NEVER go to this location of LabCorp again.

Beverly, the front desk person, is not suitable for any position dealing with human beings. She is RUDE, condescending and lacks basic empathy.

This place should be shut down. By no means should these rude people be working with the sick public.

Worst experience ever. Don’t go there. I got a huge hematoma and severe bruise. I even had to point out which vein to use

I tried posting this review before, but they deleted it.Staff are rude, treat you like an inconvenience/ like an idiot. While doing a urine test, the nurse didn’t allow me to wash my hands even after the test was done. So I stood there with urine on my hands while she leisurely went on with her work. I’ve never had this happen to me any other time I’ve done a urine test. They should always let you wash your hands once you’re done. I’m never been treated with this level of disrespect at any other medical facility.Staff needs to be fired and place shut down, like all the other reviews say.(Hopefully, they don’t delete this review to.)

The instructions on the web check in are wrong or they dont follow it. You don't get a text or heads-up like it says. Must go in and wait.

For awareness: there is no coordination at this location. They drew my blood without confirming my doctor's order and turns out they ran the labs for a completely WRONG prescription. The front desk person does not confirm any information. I had to beg to see the order they were drawing my blood for. ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL

I just got finished an appointment at Labcorp in kop. Firstly I want to mention that the two women who helped me today were extremely kind and friendly, so this review does not reflect them in any way. The woman who initially called me back was unbelievable rude and disrespectful to everyone she spoke to. When I first walked back I did not see who called me back and asked her if she had called my name. She said “Uh yeah I’m the only person up here.” I just felt as though the sass was not necessary. Also, there was another employee in the hall so, she was not the only one who could have called my name….Another man came back to do his intake info with her and almost immediately she was being rude to him. He was either Indian or Pakistani (I did not see him but he mentioned he was not from America). His English was proficient but understandably was taking time to understand medical terms. He was asking questions about his insurance to understand what would be covered. She exclaimed to him that his insurance wouldn’t cover everything in an extremely aggressive manner. He asked her why she was being so rude and she said she wasn’t, she was just answering his question. (Let me confirm that she was in fact being extremely rude to this man.) Even myself and other clients were looking at each other in shock. He explained that it just takes him and extra minute to understand these things since it is entirely different medical system and that she shouldn’t be rude to him. She finished with “Well I don’t know what to tell you.” No apologies or anything. This woman needs to be fired or issued some sort of warning because this was so out of line for someone working in a medical facility. If you don’t like talking to people, stop talking.

Omg I am speechless on how great the customer service experience is at this Labcorp location! There was a beautiful young lady with a hijab on at the front desk that made me feel soooooooo comfortable/safe during my drug screening test, not to mention I even heard her comforting another patient telling them everything will be okay and asking if they were nervous. There was little to no wait time. I literally came in, they told me to check in and I was called to the back in under 5mins and don’t even get me started on the drug screening test itself! Usually they take 30-45 mins but no, not at this location! It only took 15MINS which had me shocked because I was afraid that I’d be late to work. They had me laughing during my test which I really enjoyed because I was having a bad morning, This is by far the best Labcorp location I’ve been too. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place!!!!

Don't go to LabCorp for employment drug screening. They won't see you until 0800. Most working class folk must be at work around 8am. Why would anyone assume that 8am is convenient for employment collections. Wouldn't the 630am slot make more sense to get these working folk out the door and on their way to be productive members of society.
