We had Deborah this afternoon to do our tax and the experience is much better than last year’s.(Last year it was weird, my husband made an appointment online with one person but when we showed up, we got someone else and that person didn’t have the most friendly demeanor.)Anyway, once you find someone you like at this location, tax preparation with H&R Block is easy and efficient. We’ve already made our appointment with Deborah for next year :)

Bad experience. False promises. They lose my tax returns. Both the male manager and female area manager of multiple locations do not return phone calls and do nothing to resolve. What an embarrassment to the brand.

I asked the guy that answered the phone if they have any appoints in the near future he just sounded puzzled and said we're usually booked for months. And then nothing but silence. Atleast tell me the next time I'm booked instead of the awkward silence

Peace of mind and expert guidance. In general terms, the attention this year not to the standard I was used to have. For the received service, I found it expensive... will try in the future with independent accountants to compare.

We arrived with completed tax forms & just needed to apply for an ITIN number. We were told we would have to start from the beginning with the tax forms. I thought whatever, getting the ITIN number application was my main concern so as long as we get that I’m happy. Was told 30 minutes into the service that they did not have anyone qualified to help us with the ITIN. The tax return she completed for me came back the with the exact same $ amount as the one I had already done. I was charged $155 for a tax return I had already completed and I did not get the one service I asked for. These people are thieves. Lesson learned. P.S. If you make less than $73k/yr the gov will do your taxes for you free online. Either way avoid this place if you don’t like being scammed.

We've been using this location ever since we moved to the area. This year's experience is much less pleasant than last year. First of all, after my husband made the initial appointment, they changed our time slot without any explanation (they didn't call us, and we didn't realize the change until their automated reminder, which is truly unprofessional). Secondly, when we arrived, the most weird thing took place: The tax person, albeit has the same name, isn't the same person showed in the online profile!!! Besides, the tax pro we had this time doesn't seem all that knowledgeable. He had to ask another person twice to make sure he was doing the right thing. The first time he tried to submit our forms, he got denied as he forgot to fill in a whole section.Anyway, we will try to schedule appointment with another person next year.

Joyce was not professional. She interrupted me and actually shook her finger at me. I then rescheduled letting the front desk know I wanted a new tax pro. Came back I was scheduled again with yes, Joyce. I rescheduled and landed with Jesse who was good. I don't feel I was given the opportunity to discuss all my itemization expenses but I'm just glad its over. This is the King of Prussia office.

I can hardly know where to begin. This office is beyond incompetent. Made an appointment over the phone and gave my info, they could not find any of my previous years tax information over the phone. I thought ok it can be worked out at the office. When I arrived I had the tax preparer Ruth who was very nice and tried. However nobody in the office knew how to operate their Printer/Scanner. The attendant up front did not have a clue what was going on and was falling asleep. It had taken 30 min and still they could not even get my tax return started. I walked out and went home to call the HR Block complaint line (Something I never do) and gave them the rundown. I then get a call from Ruth at the store and they asked for a second chance. I said sure and was scheduled with another tax preparer named Jesse at 6pm tomorrow 2/7. Hung up and rearraigned my schedule to only be called back less that 5 minutes later by the office with them now telling me that they could not see me at the new appointment time!!! This was unbelievable. The office has the person up front falling asleep and says umm when asked any question. Nobody knew how to work their own office equipment to even begin the tax return and then the follow up appointment was made then cancelled by them. I will never ever go there again. It was a good office in the past, now it is laughable.
