Many successful companies have achieved success because of their focus on the customer experience. These companies invest in training their employees because they understand the impact an employee can have on client satisfaction, repeat purchase, word of mouth and ultimately revenue. This is a review about a company with a good product, but one who is losing customers because of poor customer service.Brian is a customer facing employee, working the counter and helping with orders. Brian was so rude to us on three separate occasions that during our last visit the other salesperson apologized for his behavior. Brian has been such an appalling person in his attitude and the way he handles situations that everyone needs to know not to do business with him, or Delaware Valley Plumbing Supply and West End Hardware as long as he is there.Over the years we have purchased tens of thousands of dollars here and we have been loyal customers when we could have purchased elsewhere for less. We have purchased faucets, fixtures, shower heads, sinks, toilets, valves, hardware and more. Given this, you would have expected better customer service.We are not the only ones who have had a poor experience with Brian, just read some of the other reviews. We do not recommend this business and will not return as long as Brian is there.The customer experience you provide will ultimately determine your success… right now you are failing us and many others.

This place is a dream. It has everything I could ever need for my home projects. The outside is deceiving because when you walk inside it’s so spacious! And the employees were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to remodel your home or business!

We just renovated our center city condo unit, a daunting task. Thanks to the recommendations of Meredith, our salesperson, we are super-happy with everything we purchased from West End - kitchen and bathroom sinks and faucets, bathroom vanity, medicine cabinet, and chrome hand shower, kitchen disposal, hot water dispenser, and more. Months after the purchase, we noticed that a wire shower basket was not there, even though our contractor had signed for it. Meredith was there for us once again, and sent us another wire shower basket at no charge. We could not be more pleased with West End Hardware's products and, especially, their customer service. We can give them, with no reservations whatsoever, our very highest recommendation.

Lots of options but the customer service is terrible. I understand it takes longer to get orders fulfilled during COVID but they don't provide updates. Even when I would call for an update they would tell me they would call back but never do. When my order did finally come in I only found out because I called them to ask.

Zero stars regarding our experience at West End Hardware. We were thrilled to purchase a floor model of a vanity for a great price. Spent lots of time in the store talking to sales associates about what a great price it was. Put down deposit of more than half of it on credit card only to be called over an hour later stating the sign on the vanity was in the wrong place and it wasn't meant for that vanity. Meanwhile, the sign was taped right above the vanity. The vanity was apparently twice the cost. Manager wouldn't do a thing to work with us on this. Very poor customer relations. We were planning to get a lot more there. Will never go back now. Left us without a vanity and having to return things we were buying to match what we thought we had just purchased. Terrible customer relations. Poor service recovery.

I would give them zero stars if possible. I went to the store in a pinch to get kitchen cabinet pulls and knobs. They charge a rush delivery fee if you want anything to get to you within a few days. I was OK with that, and even accepted the fact that I would be charged a restocking fee if we returned some of the items. What I dislike most about this store is the attitude. They were emphatic about the restocking fee and spoke to me like I was a child. If I have enough money to shop at a high-end hardware store, at least treat me with a little bit respect. I ended up returning some of the hardware we purchased because I overbought on purpose. I was hit with the restocking fee, which was no surprise. What was surprising, however, was the eight weeks it took to receive a credit for my merchandise. They waited over four weeks to ship the items back to the manufacturer, and four weeks after that I had to call and ask why I still did not receive credit. The woman who answered the phone was all too happy to tell me about their "policies," but completely incapable of providing customer service. There are plenty of high end hardware stores on the main line with better customer service. Go elsewhere!

We did buy new fixtures for our master bath remodel and a new vanity and top. Basically spent quite a bit on nice high end fixtures. We are still missing a piece which was never delivered, two months later, and another piece which was wrong. In addition, we wanted a bigger sink on the vanity, it was replaced by a smaller sink without our approval. No call to tell us we had to switch it out. You would think the sales person would know the sink sizes! Also they claim they delivered the missing piece. We just ordered it online to reduce the hassle! We called Koehler about the part that didn't fit and they are sending us a free replacement. The store did not help us with any of the problems we had. We are really disappointed in their customer service, and would not recommend them at all.

How the heck do you call it a "PLUMBING SUPPLY" when you cant even buy SIMPLE pluming supplys??!!! I go in for a sloan flushometer and spud, instead i got looked at like trash and talked to just the same, with "we dont sell that junk we only sell high end fixtures here"...... The store is JUNK AND SO IS THE GUY IN THERE HIS attitude SUCKS AND SO DOES CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOT A PLUMBING SUPPLY STORE SO CHANGE YOUR NAME TO " High end fixtures for snobby people just like us"
