I've been going to the Compleat Strategist in King of Prussia for many years, and it never disappoints. The people who work there are especially helpful. You can tell they do it for the love!

The Strat has a frankly unbelievable selection of games for a brick and mortar store in the present day. Even more remarkable, the bulk of the store is not given over to the filthy casual market (e.g. 40k, 5E D&D, and Magic -- though of course they also sell those). They also sell wargames-adjacent items, like Osprey and history books. Their selection of RPG books and vintage wargame and modeling mags reminds me of the last real local game stores that mostly died out in the late '90s, but of course the Strat goes back to the early '80s in this location. It is a one of a kind, a lost treasure from a fantastic earlier epoch. Visit the Compleat Strategist and know that you are a barbarian lurking in the ruins of an advanced civilization.

Super friendly and welcoming shop. The extensive collection of board games to choose from is almost overwhelming. If you're looking for a great board game to bring to your game night, this is the spot for sure. They also offer some comics, books, collectibles and figurines. They have a nice assortment of Magic and Yugioh Cards to choose from and some Pokemon as well. Always satisfied when I stop in and always looking forward to going back to see what's new. Also appreciate that if you make a request for a certain item, they try to bring it in for you. Great stop and service.

Came in this afternoon looking for the FLGS experience while in town for work and I was not disappointed. Every RPG book I’ve ever imagined and some I never even knew existed. Shelves upon shelves of board games for everybody. Warhammer, Star Wars Legion, and about a dozen more miniature games. If I lived in KOP I’d have my new favorite spot. On top of it, the owner was friendly, super knowledgeable, and very helpful. I only bought one book, but I will definitely be back next time work brings me to town. If you’re into anything I mentioned or looking to get into any of it, then this is the place to go. Cannot say enough good things about Compleat Strategist.
