A truly horrible experience. We received an incorrectly fabricated countertop and sink. Colonial made it almost impossible to get a hold of someone in person and gave me the run around when trying to resolve the issue. Our kitchen was delayed over three weeks, and we were without a kitchen sink for over three weeks. When the sink and correct countertop were installed, the sink came damaged, and our sink cabinet was scratched. This was over two months ago, and my emails and phones calls to resolve this issue are still not responded. DO NOT USE!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR FOLLOW-UP. JUST LIES AND NON-RESPONSIVENESS!!

We could not be happier with our recent experience at Colonial Marble and Granite. Dimitra, our sales representative was patient and knowledgeable. The craftsmen who templated and installed our countertops were accurate, careful and very accommodating. All along the way, we felt that everyone went out of their way to give us a perfect experience. We truly love our new quartz countertops: they are beautiful and elegant.

Bad faith and incompetent
Issues across the board from start to finish:
- sold a 16 gauge no name sink with my counter. Ended up being 20-21 gauge. Oaklandkb (the supplier and/or manufacturer of the no name sinks) seems to be scamming colonial on sink specs as they say it is 18 gauge. Stella (sales person) was mistaken but emphatic about the sink gauge being 16 gauge at sale, but was untruthful in owning up to her mistake later.
- no call / no show for first scheduled install. There was a material delay but I was not notified. I took a vacation day from work for this one.
- second scheduled install needed to be moved because of an electrical fire at colonial. No complaint about this one.
- first visit to house, sink was edged incorrectly and another piece didn’t fit so it had to be recut.
- second visit to house, recut piece had wrong edging and was off for coloring. Sink cutout was edged correctly this time but was not updated to a different sink that was actually 16 gauge. Spoke with Chris Guest (regional sales manager) and Bill Pritz (director of operations) on phone Tuesday prior to Friday install and they put in the order for the sink cutout to be updated. Sink cutout arrived on Friday morning with no update, had to be sent back AGAIN. Tried to get a hold of Chris that same day via email and calls. Got a very apologetic email from Chris on Saturday. I asked to be called Monday. When I was not contacted Monday I physically went to colonial on Tuesday and spoke will Bill. I have not spoken with Chris since his apologetic email.
- third visit, most of counter was installed well. Still missing the one piece that needed to be recut. Undermount sink however doesn’t have enough supports and has pulled away from counter 3/16 inch in two spots.
- fourth visit was a success. Everything looks good. Installers Derick and Carlos were great.
Summary:
- It took 3 1/2 weeks since first no call no show install and 6 weeks since purchase to get the 60 sqft counter installed correctly.
- had to go to colonial in king of Prussia in person to discuss issues twice because of the lack of response to email and phone communications, especially with Chris guest.
- I tried to speak about reimbursement/price adjustment for all the mistakes which cost me a few thousand dollars with my contractor. I was offered 400 off a 7000 counter project cost. %6 is paltry for all this incompetence. When things go this poorly, I expect better compensation.
- awful communication, no ownership and empathy for issues, especially Chris Guest (regional sales manager).
@colonial my order number is au324180-274731. Contact me if you want to discuss. I have tried to call you and always get voicemail. Call backs from you are rare.

We decided to use Colonial Marble and Granite for our kitchen countertops. Everyone we worked with was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were patient in answering any questions we had and thoroughly explained all intricate details. The workmanship far exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning when working with Nikos we felt like family. The entire process from selecting our stone to installation was seemless. We absolutely recommend using Colonial Marble and Granite to anyone looking for a first-class experience!

Terrible company. Do not use at all. No call no show to appointments and try to threaten you to keep the contract despite many issues. No response from management or sales personnel. They pass you off but never get back or address issues

I had a wonderful experience with the designer who helped take my 1950s kitchen to the present day. Selection of all countertops and cabinets was super easy. I had a damaged cabinet that was replaced very fast.

These people were great to work with. Their price was very competitive. Their sales and installation people were very professional. Perfect job!

It’s ashame I had a bad experience with them this time, because last time, everything was great. This time, the guys left everything a mess. Not only did they cut parts of the counter too short (I insisted they return to fix all of this AND they tried to hide it with caulk), but they also left large holes/gashes in the walls of both bathrooms after installing the counters. I was told “sorry, this can happen” and the cost to fix it is on me. After fighting with them and them dodging me, all which was over an extended amount of time, they refunded me $100.

I am so glad I took them for their word that they would make this experience seamless and easy for me. They did and I love my countertop! Installers were fast, tidy and did a great job. Madison was extremely patient with me..I visited so many times and left with many samples. They are really trying hard to provide excellent customer service and it shows! I feel confident to write this review and to tell you to trust them! I worked with Madison and Christa and both were top notch! I hope the company takes care of these two because they are gems!!

I recommended my good friend when she moved out to PA to have Colonial Marble and Granite remodel her kitchen. They were installing new cabinets, (in exactly the same areas that the old ones were in) back splash and countertops. They also had to remove what she currently had. The installation of the countertops went fine but there were issues with the cabinets and backsplash. Sloppy job on backsplash as they damaged the dry wall and did not fix it as you can see from the pictures attached. Some of the cabinets had to be adjusted and moulding put on. They left two pieces of moulding off and one cabinet is still not adjusted correctly. Pictures below. Also, when installing moulding under the range hood, they left a gap on one side and not the other. One of the men who came to adjust the cabinets and install the moulding under the range hood had an attitude from the moment he came to her home. I guess he was not happy that he had to come back to do this but if they had done it correctly the first time, they would not have had to come back again. Even after they came back a second time, you will see from the pictures it was still not all done. We've tried emailing them, calling them and actually went there with twice. They said it would be taken care of and that was over 2 months ago and she has still not heard back. Customer service is horrible. They yes you but don't follow through. My friend spent well over $50,000 for this project and is not happy with the work done. I will never recommend them to anyone ever again. I used Colonial about two years ago for my granite and backsplash in my kitchen and had no issues. Years prior I used them to remodel two bathrooms for me and had minor issues that were resolved quickly. Not sure what's happened lately but they are no longer customer focused. I think maybe they grew too quickly and haven't hired quality sub contractors because their work is shabby and as stated their customer service sucks.

So happy with my new countertop and backsplash! Colonial’s KOP showroom had endless options within all price ranges! I was able to find a countertop that fit my budget that looked beautiful. I also appreciated how prompt they were with getting everything installed. Would 100% use them again!

I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience with Colonial Marble and Granite. After only a few years, my under-mount sink collapsed due to what I suspect was poor craftsmanship and faulty installation. When I reached out to Colonial to address the issue, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability.
The administrative staff avoided my calls and failed to follow through on their promise to get back to me the next business day. I was passed around to several voicemails before finally speaking to an installation representative, who was neither empathetic nor took responsibility for the issue.
Given the investment I made, I expected better quality and service. Unfortunately, Colonial Marble and Granite fell short on both fronts. I would not recommend them if you're looking for reliable craftsmanship and responsive customer care.
