They stood me up! I was communicating with the movers an hour ahead of time, 15.minites past the showtime and I ask where are they? Someone responded that he was waiting for a buddy to come who was running late, so I wait until 30 minutes later, no reply. 45 minutes and no reply. 1 hour and no reply. I'm blowing this guys phone up with calls and text!! No reply. So I had to drag all my heavy furniture and boxes by myself down the hallways, load it up and unload it on a 98° day in the middle of Summer by myself, talk about ANGRY! I then had to call a buddy of mine to help me with the coaches and thank goodness he was available; otherwise I would've had to pay extra for my Uhaul rental. These guys were the absolute worse! Thankfully Uhaul customer service made sure I was refunded, but be warned these guys are not reliable.

I've used Brothers for several moves. I've been forgiving of the near constant cigarette breaks by the guys moving my things. However, after my most recent experience with Laurie, I will no longer be a customer. In attempting to secure an estimate for an upcoming move, she was not only difficult but rude. When the possibility of having to use the fire escape (which makes no sense as the indoor stairs are wider with long landings and no history of other tenants requiring the use of it) arose, her response-when I actually got one (it's been 10 days) to the question of how much additional time (and money) that may take was "honestly I have no idea." After asking 3 times for a rough estimate of the additional time (2 extra hours? 4 extra hours? Was I the first customer to ever require using a fire escape?) and receiving the original quote complete with her snarky attitude again and again, I decided their absurdly high estimate wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with her and found another company. Oh, and she becomes combative and hostile when the lacking customer service is pointed out.

I first used Brothers Movers back in 2003 when I needed to relocate around $300K of networking equipment from a site in Wilmington DE to a site in Philadelphia PA. I was so impressed by how they handled that move that I have never considered using any other mover for either my personal or corporate needs. I have used them for at least five other moves, including one last week. Each time, Brothers' pricing has been fair, their crews have been great, and the service has been excellent. I strongly recommend using this company as your mover.

I have had Brothers move my entire household as well as my small business a total of 4 times over the last 18 years and have always found them to be punctual, efficient, careful, economical and respectful of me, my family and our belongings. Plan on using them again this spring!
