It’s a great atmosphere and the cats free roam 24/7, however my adoption experience was unfortunately not as great.
I spent an hour looking at all of the cats and then paid an additional hour to spend time with a cat I adored. I had felt pretty confident in my ability to get approved, however was denied due to my current girl’s lack of medical history. I was informed I should have taken my current cat to the vet immediately after her adoption. I explained that I hadn’t known that as a first-time cat owner, but had researched all types of things about diet, etc. and take care of my cat the absolute best I can. I explained we had moved that fall and in March we took my girl for a potential medical issue (she’s totally fine, false alarm!). The owner said there was no way she’d know if I would take the cats for a yearly check-up. I hadn’t even had my own cat for 10 months at that point.
I was so upset after spending that time and getting my hopes up about the cat I wound up falling in love with. I stopped looking at all other shelters because I felt so guilty that I hadn’t taken my cat for her first appointment after being adopted. It worked out because just a few weeks ago, I had found a handsome stray and he had no chip. I’ve paid for all his medical expenses and he’s now acclimating in my home. I also am currently fostering another handsome dude. I mentioned it to my therapist because I was so upset and she knew exactly the place without me even saying a name because she had gotten denied previously.
The women there were lovely and the cats there were also great. Just be mindful that if you fall in love with someone, you will likely get denied if your history is not long enough.
Edit after owner’s response:
The owner has completely misconstrued my behavior with her response below and I’m incredibly embarrassed for her that she felt the need to do that. I originally gave it only 3 stars, and I don’t think my review was unkind. However after that, I’ve lowered it to 1.
My cat was never described as spicy, she’s a good girl but with a stoic personality. She gets along with the foster and the stray we pulled in. The wonky kitty (which the owner did not find offense originally and has now twisted this) was a very good boy but in no way did I not pick him because he wasn’t “pretty”. He spent more time playing with some girls and I didn’t get much time with him and I didn’t want to waste the short time I had paid for, so I started looking at some of the others. It was awkward on me to try and step in so I let them play. She suggested another cat who I also looked at but he was asleep most of the time and reaching elderly age and I wasn’t sure he’d play with my cat much.
The visit to my vet for my cat was NOT an emergency at all, it was because she started scooting. Changed up her diet and problem was fixed!
I was originally upset by her response, but it does make sense from a few stories I’ve heard. I’m very glad it has been a great experience for others, though. Regardless of the owner’s opinion of me, I think a place like this is a breath of fresh air compared to a shelter. Just maybe the management needs some work. I truly wish her and the kitties the best.

After my first 3 visits to the café, I chose to volunteer at TreeTops . I’ve been there for around 6 months, all of the people there are incredibly sweet and well educated. The cats are always entertaining and they offer amazing services for these cats! If you are looking for a place to study for 30mins-1hr you can cuddle with cats, get a beverage and relax! I highly recommend you visit them and if you choose to volunteer, the training is very in depth, organized and well managed. Staff is always very kind and there is a shoppe of cat related items ranging from cat toys to garden statues!

Most relaxing hour I’ve had in a long time. My two daughters and I truly enjoyed the time we spent at Treetops Kitty Cafe. We played with the active kitty’s and sat near the quiet ones and just looked at the sleepy ones. They’re all great!

We love Treetops both as a place to adopt cats and a place to spend a fun afternoon! We have adopted two cats from them, and have had the most amazing experience both times. Our girls are special, and were the perfect fits for our home. I love that they choose cats that may be overlooked in shelters, and help them find a home that is the right fit . Visiting the cafe and playing with the cats is also a great way to unwind. The staff love and care for the cats as their own, and are so helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend someone check out Treetops!

We got our cats from Treetops Kitty Cafe and they are so good at matching you with the right cats and working with you through the transition period of adopting a new animal. We have visited many times since then just to meet all the great cats they have in the cafe.

I have visited the cafe over 3 times and each time is a relaxing and enjoyable experience with the cats. The newest interior is gorgeous and you can tell the cats have lots of stimulating toys and places to climb, run and sleep. I actually adopted my first cat from Treetops and they helped me with all my anxious cat questions and followed up with me multiple times after adoption. My kitty was previously feral and they were honest with me about her entire situation and history. She is an anxious girl but so am I and we are truly peas in a pod. We are constantly with each other at home and I am so so lucky to have this angel of a kitty. Thank you Treetops!! I recommend them 100%

Our son adopted a bonded pair 4 years ago and we had no idea our lives were missing so much. These little rescue kitties filled a hole in our hearts we didn’t know we had and they make everything better. Treetops is committed to finding the best fit for the furbaby and for the family. We are so very grateful!!

We cannot recommend Treetops strongly enough! The care provided for the cats is of such high quality. It is clear from how relaxed and playful they are how comfortable they feel. We adopted two kitties in 2022 and have continued to follow along. The adoption process was smooth and I appreciated how seriously they took vetting us as adoptees. It is clear they are looking to match healthy and happy forever homes. We have also enjoyed visiting the cafe for a fun escape! Thank you for all you do!

I have adopted 5 cats from Tree Tops Kitty Cafe. The work they do there, especially Hannah, with hard to adopt cats is absolutely life changing. Not just for the cats, but for the people like me who adopt them. As a former dog owner I never imagined being able to love and bond with a feline the way I have with all my kitties from Tree Tops.
Stop on in if you get a chance, you won’t be disappointed.
