It's too big and pricey. I had to take my dog in for an eye issue each week for three weeks and saw a different vet each time. I would feel more comfortable with one vet for my dog's one issue. Also, they had her on 5 different medications and tried too many procedures when they should have sent me to a specialist after the first week or two. $1k spent when I could have put most of it towards the ophthalmologist. I questioned the amount of medications a couple times as well as the price of a contact. I did not receive great explanations and as for questioning the price of the contact I was given attitude by the owner via email. A phone call would have been nice and much easier. Money does not grow on any of my trees unfortunately, so asking questions and understanding prices and medications is something I have to do. As long as I understand, it is much easier for me to move forward. I wish they would have set their pride aside and sent me to a specialist to begin with. The ophthalmologist is keeping my dog on only two of the medications and is charging me once for the initial visits and the visits to follow for this one issue. After this experience with Longwood vet center (and other experiences with Longwood) I am convinced the bottom line comes before my dog and I.

I would seriously consider ensuring what the price of the service you're receiving is before going here. My wife just took our dog here to get some basic shots and vaccinations and it cost over 700 dollars. absolute horrible price gouging by these people.

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. I have my reasons and I will tell the truth when the time is right.

I would love to make this Vet Center my permanent Veterinarian office but sadly I use them only for emergency visits due to their high fee's. Their Staff is kind and all are helpful but having 2 dogs I need to consider cost and care.

I called this place because my new dog was sick. I was told they couldn’t assist me because I wasn’t a current client. No one asked me if I wanted to be. Rather they decided to refer me to someone else and IF I decided to be a client to give them a call back…….. I would never call you back. If you’re listed as an emergency center and people call for an emergency but you can’t help, and then are condescending….i wouldn’t dare.

Dr. Freeman and the excellent staff at Longwood Veterinary helped us say goodbye to our pretty little lady Maxie, our Boston Terrier of 12 years. We will forever be greatful to the team at Longwood for the measures taken to get and to keep Maxie comfortable, while her family members arrived to say their final goodbye. Dr. Freeman took her time communicating to each family member, who all arrived at different times, what Maxie's condition was and the pros and cons of numerous courses of action. The patience, consideration, and kindness of the Longwood team while we said our final goodbyes is something we will never forget.

the vet I recently met with the last two times was extremely rude, condescending, and barely let me talk to explain what was wrong with my dog.She was about 85 years old which I have no problem with that however she was so jaded and just seemed like she wanted to get me in and out as fast as she could. Just disappointed bc I have had some good experiences in the past. I’m just not sure I can go back

Our dogs have been patients at Longwood for over twenty years. The office staff, nurses and doctors have been kind, compassionate and professional. In an emergency situation, their nurse anesthesis saved our vacation departure by taking our Westie to her home. That was above and beyond the usual services.

They botched my cat's euthanasia and my cat suffered a horrendous death because of it. The bill we received for an xray and the botched euthanasia was $800.00. Don't take your pet to these uncaring and unfeeling people. It was a horrible experience.

Thanks to all for taking such good care of Mya! We were up all night with her with diarrhea and vomiting. We were sick with worry. The staff took her in, ran some tests, and got her back on the mend. She went home the next day and was doing much better. Thank you!

I've been a client for 24 years, two cats and two dogs, all with complicated medical stories, and even though I'm now 15 miles away from the practice (with plenty of vets within 5 miles), I would never change. The vets and the staff are wonderful here!

Longwood vet always makes time for my sick babies when many other local vets turned us away. When your pet needs care they are always so sweet an accommodating, you can tell they really have a love for animals. The doctor took each of my dogs on separate occasions last minute when they needed care so they didn't have to suffer through the night! Thank you so much to the Longwood vet family! <3
