If I could rate this CVS less than zero I would. For almost 10 days I tried to have a 90-day prescription filled. I verified with both my MD and insurance, 3 separate times with both, that the MD sent the Rx and IBX sent an override to CVS. After each verification I went to pick up the Rx and was told the 1st and 3rd times that the MD didn't send the script and the 2nd and 4th times that insurance did not send an over ride. 3 times I had the misfortune of dealing with a checkout woman that was very unpleasant. The pharmacist eventually resolved the issue and found the 90-day override and filled Rx .Separately, I was at the hospital for a vaccination and the physician assistant was kind enough to try to call and verify that CVS could supply a separate typhoid Rx to this CVS, while I was sitting next to her. The PA and I waited over 20 minutes for somebody to answer the phone at CVS. Eventually, we gave up and the PA sent in the RX, and we hoped for the best.

Had a scheduled appointment for 2nd Shingles shot, planned day around it, checked on line to make sure pharmacy was open (due to them being closed unexpectedly in the past) went in and was told pharmacy is CLOSED. I would expect them to notify people with scheduled appts that they were closed, as I would notify them if I couldn’t keep appt - but NO. Attitude is…oh well, just reschedule…very unprofessional. 0 stars from me! (Had to give 1 star to have this post)

Two staffs couldn't find my prescription nor me. Said my files or any records never existed when it was confirmed by my clinc that CVS has received and confirmed my prepscriptions hours ago.The whole pharmacy department is a circus. It's frustrating when large chain pharmacies like CVS fail to deliver the level of service and accuracy that patients deserve. It's important to have confidence in the healthcare system and know that your medical records are properly managed and accessible when needed. Customer service should be a top priority for any business, especially when dealing with people's health and well-being.It may be worth considering switching to a pharmacy that values your time, respects your medical records, and provides the quality service you deserve.

They never manage to fill prescriptions on the schedule and timeline they provided. Worst than the government. I am throwing in the towel and will look for other pharmacies.

Please read my 5-star review. It appears that many reviewers on this platform fail to empathize with or understand the challenges faced by CVS employees. Despite being underpaid and understaffed, the staff at this location went above and beyond to assist me. I needed a prior authorization for my medication and also had a manufacturer coupon, but the male technician was extremely knowledgeable and promptly e-sent the prior authorization to my physician.Normally, this process can take up to a week, but it was completed right away. My physician approved the prior authorization, and CVS ordered my medication, rebilled it to insurance, and added the coupon. Two days later, I returned to find everything accurately handled.Another technician even noticed a line forming and opened up another register. I cannot commend these people enough. I highly recommend that you take the time to get to know them and treat them as individuals, rather than mere numbers.

Rude pharmacy staff. Never seems to have prescriptions in stock, and tells you to go to another CVS. Didn't want to honor a Good Rx card.I don't want to hear they are short-staffed, so are many companies. The pharmacy manager must not be able to manage his staff because there always seems to be a lot of people behind the counter but half aren't working.Transferring my business to Walgreen's next door

My most recent fiasco at the Longwood CVS today is hard to believe. I handed the clerk a new prescription for an eye ointments. This was the second time I had this prescription but I didn't have a refill, so I had to have a new one. The clerk was a trainee, so she asked the pharmacy manager for help. Here is the problem. The manager messed up two of my medicines before and sure enough she did it again. But this time she ordered eye drops instead on the ointment. When I went to pick it up, it was on back order. Luckily, the lady at the pick up desk said "YOUR EYE DROPS WILL BE HERE TOMORROW" Hmmm, I was getting an ointment not drops. I asked to see the hand written prescription. Now the pharmacist came and told me they made a mistake when entering but not to worry, we have your ointments here now. And they are very sorry for the mistake.I am changing stores for sure, How about you?

If you live in Kennett Square please do not use this location. A young lady on 2/22 at 630pm told me to get here before 7pm. I was in line at 643pm. Behind a bmw. Only car in front of me. I got to the front of the window at 705. I literally saw the window shut and the window lock. I waited in line for 22 minutes. In line well before 7pm. And the window literally got shut and locked in front of me.

Pharmacy was called at 2pm to fill a prescription and said it would be about an hour, but I would receive a text message when it was ready. I call back 3 hours later to the machine telling me the pharmacy is closed and arrive at the store 4 minutes after close. People were still there, but told me they couldn’t help (which is fine). The fact that I waited 3 hours for the text message that was never received AND that pharmacy hours are not listed is why I’m giving this a 1 star. I would give it zero, if that was possible

They allow the public to still make appts for covid vaccine, I came from bear, delaware to get the vaccine due to military reasons and they very rudely informed me I cant get it because they dont do them anymore, and the “manager” rudely spoke to me and my family

I went in this evening after I received a notification about my medication being ready. I was there behind only 1 person and waited for 30 minutes. All of this and the employee that finally attended me said the prescription was not ready. There isn’t enough staff in the pharmacy to assist all of the customers in a timely and professional manner and those who do work there need more training.

A mind-boggling totally incompetent and unsympathetic CVS location. This Minute Clinic doesn't properly give toddlers vaccines in their thighs unless demanded and then you feel like they are rolling their eyes and trash talking you. Thighs are standard protocol for young ones per CDC guidelines and I shouldn't have to educate medical staff about that. Also zero sympathy was expressed when I said I have to go to a funeral. Then, the Pharmacy can't figure out why we aren't eligible for flu shots even though we get them every year at CVS and both our insurance and prescription plans say we're eligible, but 1.5 hours later, we still have no flu shots and no resolution. And, my prescription was promised by 2 pm today, but they never even pulled it over to their pharmacy as I'd requested 7 hours ago. A massive waste of time and nothing accomplished after driving to this location 40 minutes from us simply because we needed to take our little one to a Minute Clinic for a Covid vaccine and this was the closest one. Absolute nightmare!

This is crazy! Had surgery this morning. Came to pick up painkillers. Not ready. Came back again. 5th car in drive thru line. If I go in it’ll be worse. But my issue is one car is taking 20 min! Tell them to go park and walk in!!!! Don’t hold up the whole line!

I have truly never been so insulted in all my life, and never leave reviews. Kennett Square pharmacy staff is incredibly unprofessional, and at this point I'm looking to see if the way I was spoken to publicly was a violation of the HIPAA laws. When the staff member questioned my prescription was faulty, he didn't pull me aside to tell me he couldn't fill it and would have to look into it, instead he refused to fill my prescription, and in front of a waiting area full of people, spoke as if I was doing something illegal with my prescription. This was with my 8-year-old child standing with me, after waiting almost an hour in line. I left that store and cried. Although I had no reason to be embarrassed, being a 41 year old mother of two, it was hard to not feel demeaned.
