Went to the store to have 6 foil balloons filled for my son's birthday party. The lady at the counter was so rude and disrespectful. She asked if I had string for them and wouldn't bother to look for a pair of scissors to cut it. We ended up using a box knife. There wasn't even anyone in line behind us until the last balloon. She was so polite to the gentleman behind me but was nasty to me the entire time I was there. Any other time I had gone there to have balloons filled I had paid a small fee, but when I got my wallet out to pay she yelled at me that it was free. I tried explaining my previous experiences, hence getting out my wallet, and she yelled at me a second time. I got so mad and frustrated that I ended up getting snarky back and said how I was so sorry my son was born on the wrong weekend, it's such an inconvenience to their day. I understand that everyone is human and is entitled to have a bad day, but don't take it out on your customers. It's not my fault. I just wanted to get balloons filled for my son's party. I've worked retail, I totally get it. But 6 balloons isn't that big of a deal lady. Thanks for starting off my day on a bad note. I hope we don't cross paths again.

Very inconvenient when a "convenient" store is always randomly closed, I drove 10 minutes to the next dollar general , closed on days they are open...terrible business, how are they still in business is my question.

Ive tried 3 times in the past quarter year to come to this store during normal operating hours, and every time there’s been a handwritten ‘closed for the day’ sign on the door.

The lady at the counter was so nasty because she rang up the same item 3 times and I mentioned it to her and she said”you don’t think I know that”? It used to be my favorite place to shop but I won’t be going back there. I remember when Rachel was store manager everything was so different.

The one employee named Sharon has the worst attitude and is also very rude. Every time I'm there, she is never nice or seems happy. Also, it's hard to get through isles as they have stocking carts constantly everywhere in the store. I will no longer be returning to this store, especially if Sharon is there. She definitely needs to be reminded that she works at a place that requires CUSTOMER SERVICE. she doesn't know what that means at all.

Forgot my smaller wallet with just my one debit card and my DL in my man’s car the evening before I went here. I had my other wallet with my collection of other cards and my other form of I.d laying at home thank god. Was buying cigarettes and the cashier tried to first tell me she can’t sell me cigarettes without scanning my license. Walked away with my green card to ask someone else I assume how to override it. She asked me really rudely how I even got there if I don’t drive, I never once said I don’t drive. Second it is really not her business if I do or do not drive. Shouldn’t have to feel like I’m getting interrogated by the police at the store.

I went in to to buy some thing that were on clearance and they didnt even wanna give me the sales price because it was to low and then they say we dont knw what the real prices are DOLLAR GENERAL YOUR EMPLOYS SUCK…..

The store manager(didn’t catch her name) went above and beyond for me this morning!! I was in last night with my two daughters, one being a 2 year old with a teddy bear that she’s attached to. Well I looked around the store and was about to give up and the manager took my name and number if they were to find the bear after I left. Then she went one step further and checked the camera to see if my daughter even brought the bear in. We found the bear!! This manager didn’t make me feel like I was a bother, despite the holiday season she has a lot of stuff to do. She took this seriously. I know it’s just a bear but she didn’t make me feel silly or anything!! She definitely made mine and my daughters day!!

If I could leave a NO STAR REVIEW, that's how I feel about this store right now. I have mental health problems Im always losing stuff no matter how hard I try to keep receipts I always lose them. About 2 weeks ago I bought a Glade air freshner plug in thing. They didn't have the apple cinnamon scent in the glade brand. The clerk told me the dollar general brand would work, it doesn't. The bottles don't stay in the thing. It fell out and leaked all over my bathroom floor.I attempted to return the remaining bottles and the glade plug in device but the pther bottle leaked out empty all over my bag. The other bottle that fell out of the plug in leaked all over my floor and it got thrown away. It's possible in my frustration that the receipt got thrown away too. Well these people would not take it back and give me my money back. I am not happy at all. Especially somebody like me who has difficulty with things like receipts etc. I don't have my mom anymore who helped me with stuff like this. It's not an easy life with these cognitive challenges.

Everyone was nice and helpful and given a sale day, products were in disarray which is what you'd expect on a busy weekend. I will just say, if you use coupons and try to use both digital and paper, just use them on different days. Using both gets a bit confusing. I had two different coupons for the same brand - one was paper and the other digital. The digital took it off but the paper one said it was out of date when scanned (expires 8/14/2021). The cashier checked the date and the items to make sure it could be used and she said it should have worked. She gets a manager who said she would override it after we both explained to her that I wasn't trying to stack 2 Manufacturers coupons on 1 item, I showed her both the digital coupon and the paper one and the items when she seemed to get frustrated with it, then she decided against the override saying that it took it off and then she took the coupon and walked off. I got to the car and looked at the receipt and it didn't take it, it only took 1 but its only $2 so I went on. Just something worth passing along to anyone who might use more than just the 4 I was using.
