This is a rip off operation. You can buy supplies for less on Amazon than the copay with insurance. They also stop being in network with your insurance and never notify you. They need to be investigated by the government.

Billed us for two months of rental equipment on the first bill they sent us without contacting us about the equipment being rented. When we called about it wondering why we were billed twice in our first bill, they told us, as a courtesy, they wouldn’t bill us for the THIRD month. Ridiculous. Filed with the Better Business Bureau.

Be warned!!! Go anywhere but here!!! They are unprofessional and expect you to do thier billing footwork for if you express any frustration with repeated requests for repeated information they will threaten to deny you medical supplies. Real nice folks there hold your health over you head while they try to gouge money from your pocket and your insurance. I would rate negative but it isn't an option

I’m from out of town and needed help with a piece of equipment. Staff went above and beyond for someone they most definitely did not have to . Words cannot begin to express my appreciation for them, it’s nice to know kindness still exists .

Absolutely the worst place I ever dealt with . Staff is very argumentative, they don’t even call you and let you know that your stuff is in and try to tell you it’s your fault because you should have called and asked about it. You have to consciously follow up with them . Jessica makes you feel like she is doing you a favor by waiting on you. The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen in my life . Everything is out of stock . If there was a negative star rating that’s what they would get from me. A 3 week script took 8 months to get in . When you walk in they are more interested in making you put on a mask that no one in the office is wearing then saying hello or what they can help you with .

The place is very clean.. Everyone I've dealt with over the the few years of being disabled are very pleasant and inform you on everything or anything you may need. While there I took notice to the employees wiping & cleaning because of co-vid & just for germs before the epidemic started. I would tell any one to get there supplies from Walnut Medical. I wouldn't go any where else.

We needed batteries for my friend's mobility scooter. The location in Indiana is permanently closed, so I tried another medical supply business. They gave me a card for a sales rep, who referred me to Joe in Johnstown. I called and left a message for him. He called me back and I explained what I needed. He said he'd have to check with his supplier and get back to me. When he called me back, the cost for the batteries was $100/ea, plus shipping. In the meantime, I called battery warehouse in Johnstown. They had the exact same batteries, in stock for $35/ea. When Joe called me back, I thanked him and said we'd be going with Battery Warehouse. The BW guys even installed the batteries, and told us Walnut Medical gets batteries from them all the time. Hell of a markup!!!!

I just spoke with Chris in the C-Pap division. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was the most productive phone call of the week with all of my issues being taken care of in less than 10 minutes.

Hello, I am writing about the Walnut Medical on Main Street in Johnstown, PA. MY representative was Mike, he was very professional and took his time to explain how my new CPAP machine operates and even allowed me to try on the mask, which fit likes a glove. I have had the CPAP for 3 days and 2 nights as of this review and I love it. Using it has allowed me to get a good night sleep and I don't toss and turn like I used to and also I no longer am snoring or waking up tired or have a headache. I will definitely recommend Walnut Medical to anyone who needs medical supplies, especially CPAP machines. Sincerely' Elizabeth" Beth" Daniels

Walnut medical on scalp ave is the one I'm writing about. I use a Bpap machine at night to sleep. The mask rubs my nose and cheeks causing them to be red and bruised a bit. I called the walnut medical on scalp ave and spoke with a lady. She said she'd look for something to help with that and call around to other offices about it. She said she'd call me back. That was three weeks ago, still no word. A few months ago I called the same office about not using oxygen tanks and using another oxygen equipment. The same lady started being aggressive and yelling at me.
