Fred and his mechanics are top notch they do incredible work without nickle and diming you. They we're quick with the repairs and stand behind their work. I will only go to Sabo's garage and only send others to him as well.

I picked this business to get my car looked at based on reviews I read from other consumers. So I felt compelled to leave a review for the next person who may be looking. Without going into specific details, I can say that I would recommend this place to anyone I know. I would actually say, if you are looking for an honest mechanic, who is 100% knowledgeable, Sabo's is where you need to go. My car is FLYING! It rides like a dream. Every penny I paid was explained and accounted for. Fred is just very knowledgeable about his craft and that was very reassuring to me.Services: Transmission

This was the absolute best experience I've ever had with auto repair. My exhaust went out. My car sounded like a tank! I called them the next morning. Dropped my car off at 1 and then picked it up at 4 for a more than reasonable price. I couldn't be happier. I'm so grateful for the friend that recommended this shop.

I’ve stopped by in a rush .. needed my window fixed, he popped it off and had me moving with my window fixed in 10 mins . I’ve also came here to get my bumper tempered fixed. 15 mins and i was out ! They also changed the engine in my current car. which took about a week in a half , they kept calling for updates etc! HIGHLY RECOMMENDServices: Electrical repair

I chose this place because it shares the same last name as me, and i thought it would be funny as there's no direct affiliation and I wanted to humor myself.I did NOT expect to be treated as well I was. The owner, Fred, took the time to explain to me the importance of listening to my car, exactly what he was doing, how much it would cost, the butterfly effect that would be put in place if I ignored the car any longer, and he provided me with proper education on the whole ordeal without making me feel stupid. I fully expected to wait all day for my car back, but they got it done in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. Fortunately the location is right next to the Riverwalk and we were able to explore that, which is beneficial if you're looking for a kid friendly place to be. I don't live close to Johnstown, but I would honestly make the trip again and again to support this local business.

My girlfriend and I bought a blue Chevy cavalier from the owner of this business. He wanted $1500 for it. We went and looked at it and took it for a test drive and eventually bought it for $1200. Everything went fine until we got the car insured and then was notified that it had an R title, and if we went to resell the car we would get next to nothing for it. Angry, we contacted the owner who we got the car from and asked why he didn't enclose that information and he told us it slipped his mind and he forgot to mention it. He has his mechanic license and his own shop that's something you don't forget to mention he did it purposely so he would get more than the $300-$500 we were told the car was worth.
