Waited over 2 hrs and charged for an urgent visit for a stray kitten, vet mentioned 10% discount for multiple pets under care, but wasn't given it. What was supposed to be a check up of a stray kitten I took in, cost over $265. Disappointed.

The staff members and doctors are very kind and passionate. Appointments are not that far out and they do have emergency appointments. Highly recommend!

I love these folks. They have taken care of several of my fur babies. They have also been very supportive in the aftercare of surgeries. The Vets are patient and professional. They take the time to hear me explain my pets issues in layman terms and get right to work. I have not encountered any issues or problems with this team. I would highly recommend their services.

100% recommend JVA to anyone! After being dismissed by my cats vet of 18 years who was having some major health concerns, Dr Assad was so wonderful! He was compassionate and quick to help out. As a matter of fact, he knew what was going on with Dixie even before doing any blood work or testing. I was impressed with how comfortable my cat was with him, we never felt rushed or dismissed, only cared for. Shes back to acting like her old self. I truly believe if I hadn’t gone to JVA my time left with my cat would have been very short ♥️

The staff at JVA are all always very caring, compassionate, and helpful even when the lobby is full and the phones are ringing! I love that there are separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats. Dr. Assad is absolutely the best! He explains all options while being is so friendly and personable! We love JVA!!

Called asking for advice regarding fleas, which seem to be immune to what I'm putting on my animals. The condescending receptionist implied I'm not taking proper care of my animals and outright said that it's impossible to get a flea infestation if the animals were treated. Like fleas can't develop a resistance to poison like many other creatures and like I'm dumb for even thinking it's possible. Kinda funny someone with a supposed formal education can be that misinformed (I have neighbors who HAVE NO PETS AND STILL HAVE FLEAS) especially when the local news has commented on this years flea issue. So I decided I'm better off driving half an hour to take my pets to Ebensburg, where Dr. Takas is actually KNOWLEDGEABLE

They are not to be trusted. They will lead you to believe your dog has a chance to live. Make you pay a huge bill for medications that I was giving her and she still died. They were liars. They never told me the truth to at least say when I was there that there’s a 50% percent chance she might not live. Because then that would have been my choice and perhaps had her put down there instead of prolonging the misery for both my and my precious pet.

We've been going here for our cats. They were one of the only places accepting new patients and I'm glad they were. All of the people there are absolutely wonderful to us and our cats. They're kind and gentle, and we always leave feeling like our concerns have been addressed. It's a huge relief having our cats in such good hands

Johnstown veterinary associates is terrific. The doctors are very warm and caring, they answer all questions without rushing you. The staff are just as wonderful. One of those wonderful ladies, stayed on the phone with me, until all of my issues were dealt with and completed. I would recommend this office proudly to anyone.

MY WIFE AND I TOOK OUR TWO SENIOR CITIZEN DOGS TO JOHNSTOWN VET YESTERDAY AUGUST 8TH. DR.BRIAN FENCHAK TREATED OUR TWO LITTLE FUR BABIES AS HIS HE WOULD HIS OWN CHILDREN. HE IS SO COMPASSIONATE TO OUR DOGS AND US AS PEOPLE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND CARE. JOSEPH GOLOJCH

I wanted to thank Jen for taking such amazing care of Sebastian during his grooming ?. She was extremely patient and compassionate with him trying to make him comfortable with her while gaining his trust! It means the world to me that she cared so much about his well being and not just the job?
Dr. Asaad and Dr. Fenchak have been amazing with all of our pups and have worked with us for their optimal health!

I called to get my dog into the clinic for an emergency visit, although they were somewhat polite they said there was not enough staff to see my dog. That was on Wednesday of this week, today we had to have our dog put down. I am very disappointed in the Johnstown Veterinary Associates. I feel that they could have seen him since they were the ones who had been caring for him. I would not recommend them to anyone who cares for their pet. It was a blessing that we got an appointment at Cambria Veterinary Care and Dr. Johanna Vena was caring and tried her best to address his needs.
