Beware that home depot contracts out to other different companies to deliver. My dryer was delivered and then the men in the truck left hit my cable line done and ripped the siding down my house. Home Depot has no idea who did this . Had to make several calls very inconvenient never purchase anything here again

Typical, just run in and get what I want. Still better than Lowes where an employee has to be found to get something from the top shelf then told me it was the wrong thing. Item number written on the box said differently.

My mother went to purchase a washer and stove on January 22nd our salesman was very sweet and very helpful. He got us all set up for delivery the 26th. We paid for delivery, installation and hauling away of the old appliances. He assured us the 3rd party delivery company "was not a fly by night" type people. The 26th rolls around, got the message delivery will be between 1030am and 230pm. At 2pm got the message there is a delay. No biggie, it happens. When they finally arrive, both men have no idea what they're there to deliver. They had to be told. Then they proceeded to say that they were not supplied with any straps to unload said appliances and we're not told that they had to do any of this including installation. That they are not from the gas company quote " so they will not be hooking anything up. My mother proceeds to tell them she paid for delivery installation and Hauling away. They start getting attitudes with her and she said well I'm just going to call Home Depot and call the police if I need to for my safety because they were making her nervous with how they were acting.As soon as she said all of that the one guy flew out the door and the other one begged her not to call the police as if he was going to be found if the police came. They both left and after she calmed down she called Home Depot to get the situation resolved. The important thing to take from this review is they were supposed to do a job and they were not planning on doing any of it even though it was paid for to do so. My mom later called Home Depot told them the situation and they are rescheduling her delivery they can't guarantee who will be delivering it which is not cool on their part she's asking to not encounter these two same men again and so far there has not been any sort of compensation or apology for the behavior of this third party company that they rely on. Why can't they being a big Corporation make sure that customers items get delivered to them from Home Depot itself and employees Home Depot hired? No call from any manager apologizing for the inconvenience heck I don't even know who the store manager of the Johnstown Home Depot is I can't even seem to find any information on it but either way Home Depot you need to do better and just because you're a big Corporation doesn't mean that you can act the way you do and think that people are still going to give you business. Eventually that will come back and bite you and you will go under. They are trying again with delivery this coming Wednesday so we will see how this goes and whether or not she just returns all the merchandise.

Took 20 minutes to get someone to assist me in the tool dept. Then went to get lumber it only took 10 minutes and the gentleman showed mebthe bin the lumber I wanted was in. Never saw him again. I found the rest of what I needed on my own. Pushing a cart with over 800 dollars worth of material and tools to the checkout the cashier had the attitude that she was doing me a favor to do her job. There is a reason why I shop Lowes. I expect Home Depot won't ever understand why though.

Took my dad to Lowes and they didn't have what he needed and had to lookall over for an employee, so we went to home depot and they had everything he needed and the employees knew exactly where everything was. Kudos to Home Depot

I love Home Depot. This store is a little small and doesn't carry everything. So I order most of my items online and get them shipped to me. Did not receive a couple items. Online Customer service was easy to work with and refunded me quickly.
