I had the EXACT paint code for my truck. I gave them the paint code. They pulled it up on the computer. They mixed it, sold it to me, I had it sprayed on the truck and its not even close to the right color. I spent weeks trying to figure it out. I eventually went to a dealership and told them my problem. The dealership took my paint code, mixed it up, and guess what it was AN EXACT match. I went back to colors and showed them this and asked for money back since they gave me paint thats not even close. They refused. They said because of a tiny sticker on the can of paint, a can I can only see AFTER I paid for the paint, that says it may not be an exact match they dont have to give me any money back. Thats a scam, I should have been showed that first, they said "this will be very close or maybe exact" Its not even close, the guy at the dealership said it wasnt even close and that colors must have made a mistake mixing the paint. He told me to take it back and get a refund. When a professional painter tells you the supplier messed up, that its not even close, and to go get a refund that tells you something. In the end colors said its because they cant mix my paint up because it would use paint thats dangerous to work with if you dont have a respirator. THERE IT IS, they wont invest in the right PPE and equipment to get you an exact match. Then they sell you paint they know wont match because they wont invest in their business, and then hide behind a sticker that you can only see after you buy the paint. Its scummy, its deceptive, and they wont tell you that information until you try to return the garbage paint they sold you. Dont give a place like this your money, they dont care about you at all, they just want your money and once they have it they dont care if you get what you asked for or not.
