Great people every time I take the shuttle. $25 to ride to the top and bike down is a good deal. They have everything from cool stickers to a brand new trek bike if you need it. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I did the Lehigh Gorge Trail 25 miler from White Haven back to Jim Thorpe. We rented bikes and rode the shuttle to White Haven. The shuttle left on time (around 30 min ride) and we were promptly fitted for bikes when we arrived at White Haven. The ride took us a little over 3 hours and that was with breaks and carrying a 20 lb french bulldog in a backpack. Some things to know:- If you are riding on the weekend, come early, otherwise the parking lot will fill up. We arrived at 9:30am for our 10am shuttle (we originally scheduled 11am, but was able to get on an earlier shuttle). Parking fee is reasonable at $12 for the entire day.- The ride is mostly gravel and very well maintained. Most of the ride was shaded, up until maybe the last 8 miles.- Plenty of picnic tables along the ride to stop for breaks.- There are bathrooms at Rockport as well as a water fountain (it was working as of Labor Day).- There are no food options along the trail so pack snacks.- Bike baskets are available for rent, but if you have your own, it would be helpful to bring.Overall, great trip. The whole operation ran smoothly. Would certainly return.

We did the bike train by taking the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway from Jim Thorpe to White Haven, and then renting a bike through Pocono Biking for the downhill return trip back to Jim Thorpe. The whole process of renting the bikes was very efficient considering there were dozens of people all receiving bikes at the same time. In terms of equipment, the bikes were above average for being rentals. The bikes shifted and stopped well - we had confidence in them. The only downside was that one of our bikes had almost bald tires, but this wasn't a huge issue considering the condition of the D&L trail - it's just hardpack.Back in town, the shop on main street is cute - stop on by for some trip souvenirs!

Very helpful and friendly. We had them shuttle or bikes up to White Haven do we could ride back down the 25 miles to Jim Thorpe where we left the truck. Beautiful ride along the river on the way with so many rhododendron on the trail. Recommended.

Very nice staff. Dealt with me changing my shuttle reservation several times. I didn’t rent bikes from them but they seem to have a great selection. The D&L trail is definitely worth doing and their shuttle service is very useful and friendly.

Highly recommend the 25 mile bike ride! My boyfriend and I rode on the shuttle to White Heaven and biked down to Jim Thorpe. The ride was scenic especially with the river. The trail was mostly flat, which sets up for a great leisurely ride. Some stops on the way, but none with water bottle refills. Overall the service was good.

My sister and I did the 4 day D and L trail ride with Andy and Doug as our guides. This was our first multi-day bike trip, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The guides were were helpful, kind and well-informed of the trail and historical significance of the towns along the trail. Our lodging each evening was exceptional. We truly enjoyed getting to know our fellow riders and guides. The snacks, bikes and overall service was fantastic. We highly recommend this particular trip!

You can’t go wrong with Pocono biking trips. Just got back from Erie Canal 6 day ride. Guides were terrific and took care of our group of 7. The ride was beautiful and i learned just how nice NY state is. All restaurant suggestions were right on target. Would definitely do this again. Rent the ebikes. Second ride day is 52 miles. We all did it with no problem. Had a really great time.

What an enjoyable day biking! Highly recommend when you visit Jim Thorpe! It was our first time visiting the town and what a sight to see. Their bikes are nice and sturdy and we didn't have any problems with it during our ride. Looking from the front of the train station, if you choose the path to your left, its a smoother less hilly ride. To the right is more mountains and rivers but with little bunny hills, nothing you can't handle. You cant go wrong with either side, although as per the front desk more people opt for the right side. Its a very long trail and you could spend the whole day if you wanted to. We only had an hour and a half to explore before the shop closed so we made the best of it. We both explored both sides of the trail and it was a blast!! Overall, smooth and enjoyable biking experience.

First, the positive. The retail staff Haley and Gina were helpful, courteous, and professional. It was a pleasure working with them. But overall it seems that this business has some leadership issuesI called ahead of time, a few days in advance and the day of, to confirm that some bikes would be available. Upon arrival we were told that they might not have enough bikes for us. We were told that often, the office staff will tell callers that there are available bikes/shuttles without confirming with the store staff. Then the store staff takes the brunt of the consequences from frustrated customersThen, about 15 minutes into my ride, I realized my front derailleur was badly misaligned. There are no bike techs on staff during the off season, but they still rent out bikes. This is an issue that would have been easily caught by a technician. Several miles into my ride, the derailleur broke and I had to convert the bike into a single speed in the front. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. If you are unable to have a tech on staff during the off season, you should not be renting out bicycles. If I were on a mountain ride rather than a calm gravel ride, I could have gotten seriously injured.TL;DR the staff in the store were excellent, but poor communication and greedy decisions from the main office lead to a potentially dangerous situation

Overall a pretty good experience. We reserved bikes for the 15 mile trip at Jim Thorpe. Easy check in and cute store with lots of items. We were not given any instructions about the bike in terms of ways to adjust the seat or change gears. I guess they assume everyone knows how to do that. Several of our bikes had seats that twisted or slowly lowered on their own so we made multiple stops to adjust them. And we heard others complaining about this as well. The ride was nice and stayed next to the river. Several stopping points with picnic tables along the way. There are no bathrooms during the ride so use it where they drop you off. Very easy path to follow and just a perfect fall day.
