Got a 2004 Toyota sienna from these guys for $8,000 got it home and the check engine light came on. Now I'm looking at about $500 to fix it and they won't do anything about it. Wouldn't recommend going here

So we purchase a truck from Sweiters, so if you have any intention on buying things from sweiters check everything out first. And from my experience I'll never buy a vehicle from them again.

We initially had a good experience at the dealership. My husband and I took our son there to purchase a vehicle. He purchased a Toyota 4 Runner. They treated our son well, were patient and kind in answering questions as this was his first experience in purchasing a vehicle. They allowed us to use their lift and look underneath the 4 Runner and their mechanics also were involved ensuring us that this was a good purchase for our son. Imagine our surprise when it came time for his very FIRST car inspection since buying it and they (Switzer's service department) cannot inspect it due to a bad frame. It took a very long time for our 19 year old to save $10,000 for this purchase and now he has lost his full investment. You knew he saved this money on his own and you covered up the problem with the frame instead of being honest. Instead of taking advantage of a young customer, you could have had a loyal lifelong customer. I am certainly disappointed that I have to write this review and even more disappointed that my son learned a very valuable lesson in trusting those that can look you in the eye, shake your hand and watch you drive away in a vehicle that they know you will only drive for one year.

I had some issues with my car shortly after purchasing and a few months after that as well (as one does with used cars), but the dealership was very good about it and made everything right.

So my mom was/is interested in a 7 year old jeep that Jr wants 30k for it....a bit overpriced but when my mom said something about trading in her jeep but switching her brand new tires he said no deal! That's all I need to say.

Terrible customer service from Steve Sweitzer. I was told not to do business there, but rolled the dice anyways. With all the good reviews i thought, what the hell. I now know why we don't to business there.

Terrible customer service and they don’t stay current with the laws for title, registration transfers. As a police officer I stopped in to do a title and transfer on a vehicle I just purchased from a friend. The state allows for gift affidavits from friend to friend. When told thats what we needed done. Old man Sweitzer (the Owner) attempted to blow his top with other customers present. Haha like I would allow that. When he couldn’t hear the truth I was trying to explain to him. Sweitzer told me to leave the store. After I informed him I was a police officer and assured him that the law clearly states this. After hearing that his tune suddenly changed. He decided to make a phone call to prove me wrong. After his phone call , he could barely look at me with embarrassment, but he didn’t even attempt to apologize for his own ignorance lol. Instead just took us back in his office and started the paperwork. At this point I was so displeased with his lack of Knowledge and inability to apologize to a customer after he himself was made to look so stupid. I had him draw up all the paperwork and then Refused his services. Drove to Carole Wasson’s in Jersey shore where she was aware of these laws and completed all my paperwork with no issues. Not to mention she was a lot cheaper then the rip off Sweitzer’s Auto. I now send all my business in that area to Carole’s and warn everyone I come in contact with to stay aware from Sweitzer’s auto in Jersey shore, Pa and Williamsport.

Travis was friendly, efficient and knew a lot about the vehicle we wanted. He did not pressure us but was flexible and willing to work out a good deal for us! Sweitzers has a 90 day warranty on the power train and does a great job checking to make sure each vehicle is in proper working order. Our vehicle we bought was very clean under the hood.I would definitely recommend working with Travis at Sweitzers! We are picky about our car dealers. We have three now who we really trust. Sweitzers in Jersey Shore, PA is definitely a favorite with one other preowned dealer (in Lock Haven) and a new car dealer (in Lock Haven). The price we paid was really a great deal!

I found a jeep I was interested in, so decided to reach out them. Very responsive and professional so my wife, daughter and I made the trip. Travis was very friendly and to the point and not a pressure salesman. Let me look over the jeep pretty extensively, and answered all questions. We agreed on price and was upfront on itemizing cost. Paperwork done quickly and out the door. He spent the time with me , so I felt I would reciprocate and give his dealership a shout. Really happy with the purchase, would recommend this place ,very clean nice vehicles.

?!!TERRIBLE SERVICE NEVER DEAL WITH THEM!!? Got new windshield wipers, next morning not even 12 hours later noticed a 3inch crack in my windshield. Went there immediately and let them know what happened. A guy named Travis was completely ignorant and blamed the crack on me saying he wasn’t going to do anything about it and talk to my insurance. NEVER will be doing business with such a shady and scummy store. Management is the worst I’ve ever dealt with, DO NOT give them your business!!
