I cannot count the number of times that I’ve entered my member number to activate my coupons and I haven’t got them. I specifically asked the person at the register today, did it take my phone number for coupons. His reply was yes, I get home and of course… it did not and I did not use my clipped coupons. They need to train the teenagers on the register how to know what discounts have been applied.

They have completely reorganized the store—again—hoping for more impulse buys rather than the convenience of the customers. The store looks junkier than ever.
The deli deserves special mention: there always seems to be at least three people behind the counter, but I waited 5 minutes before even being greeted, let alone helped. They all seemed busy filling online orders. This has been the case every time I’ve gone.

I have never had a bad experience in the store, I visit every dept for my needs. Quality food is well stocked around the store and staff are close by for questions or concerns. Store is always clean!

I would like to point out the excellent service I received at the Jenkintown Acme fish counter: Lisa served me with kindness, professionalism and efficiency. She is knowledgeable about the department’s products and gave me excellent advice concerning my purchase. Lisa is a valuable employee and I can only see her as an asset to the Acme corporation. Management should consider this employee for promotions as she could clearly help the store system in a managerial capacity.
Thanks Lisa, I’ll be back to your fish department!

It is one of the more expensive grocery stores in the area. A nice thing is that they almost always have what I'm looking for. The most recent produce/ fresh juice remerch looks great.

Like a previous review said, this Acme absolutely reeks of urine and they should be ashamed of themselves. I also bought 2 Rise Brewing London Fog cans on sale for 95 cents, I guess that’s because I failed to check in the store they are nearly a year expired.

Had an online order for today and ordered bananas. When my order got delivered they were missing, called the store and the girl said she would re send them. When they got delivered and I opened the bag they looked like this. Whoever shopped my order needs to get re trained on how to pick produce. These are disgusting. They have a little bit of mold on them and are mushy. I will never shop at this store again! Also the produce department needs to check their shelves and take off any bad produce. As a former Acme employee this is unacceptable and these bananas should have never been on the shelf or given to me. I used to be a drive up and go manager and know shoppers get trained and told to pick fresh produce and these are not fresh. Shoppers watch a video on how to pick fresh items so obviously the shopper who shopped this order needs to rewatch that video and get retrained on how to shop. I know the expectations the company has for shoppers and their stores and this definitely isn’t it.

This particular Acme seems to have a rodent problem because this is the 3rd time I’ve entered the store and smelled rodent urine odor at the entry door. The biggest issue I have with the store is that several times I wanted to purchase bread and placed beside it was large rodent traps. Needless to say I will never purchase bread again from this Acme. I’ve had to return blue berries several times because they had a weird texture, the berries smelled like an old warehouse and had no taste at all. The store needs major extermination immediately to remove this problem. Photos ?
