For the love of everything holy, do not listen to any reviews over 2 stars. I would bet my first born child that they are fake. "Top class amenities." Are we talking about the same building that consistently doesn't have all elevators working? The same building where the laundry room has constant leaks, broken machines, or smells so horrible that you wonder how a room filled with soap could possibly smell like death. The same laundry room that was covered in black mold that they sanded down and just painted over instead of treating the issue. The same building where there isn't enough parking for everyone, and multiple people have been towed while parked LEGALLY. I was towed as a resident first in a parking spot, and then towed again for "parking illegally" but they failed to show proof of my car parked illegally. Oh and if you want to guarantee a parking spot, you've got to pay for that too. Not to mention the worst of it all, that I, and many other residents, did not have heat for OVER A WEEK and I had to have my family come and demand heat for my apartment that was 50 degrees during a snowstorm. I also lost power during this time so I couldn't even plug in a heater, and no one responded to the emergency maintenance line. They also boast about security but i've forgotten my building key several times and each time i've managed to get in with no issue. My family and friends that come and visit also manage to get in with no key. On multiple occasions my friends have showed up, gotten through the front door with no ID or proof of residency and have ALSO been able to go to the front office and ask for my exact apartment number, which was given to them no questions asked. There is *sometimes* a "concierge" at the front desk, but you'd be lucky if they were actually watching cameras and not watching YouTube videos or loudly on face-time calls with their friends. It's truly a joke. Also, don't move here if you're a light sleeper, because between the thin walls where you can hear everything your neighbor is doing, and the rampant kids that will knock on your door and run, you don't get a lot of peace and quiet. The only positive thing I can say is that some of the staff are nice and do their best to help, but most of this is out of their hands. This building and it's management is an example of privilege. With the amount of revenue made off of 500 people paying rent monthly, they most DEFINITELY can afford to fix these issues, but they don't. They rely on the fact that this is one of the cheapest apartment buildings in the area, so most people either can't afford to move out, or can't afford other places in the area, so they are easily taken advantage of. If you can afford another apartment, move there.

I've been living here last two years. For me it's a great place to live for family or single guy. Amenities here are top class. Good location to willow Grove mall or downtown center city. Transportation close by. Good school district!

The staff here is very respectful. I got help from a young lady name saniyah and she was very welcoming and friendly. She answered every question that I needed a little bit more information about. The pool area is very nice and the life guards are always on duty. The apartments are very spacey and the amenities are awesome!

I recently went on a tour here and my agent was really professional. I’m considering moving here in late June.

I went there in May when Mr Hassan Hawking was there and he showed me the deluxe and had me put down a security deposit to hold it and an application fee( but he end up leaving and Ms Marquisja Brown took over and talk to me nasty like I was his personal friend and she never sent my paperwork through and never gave me my security deposit back), and then a Reginald Beatty and he kept saying in the beginning how he couldn’t find no application from me.So many people’s say that it ran down since those two over, that it has roaches and mice.

My daughter moved in to this complex in August, as she goes to college in the area. Overall the likes living there. The apartment is nice, and she likes the amenities. The biggest issue is with the parking availability. There is NOT enough parking for the number of units in the building, and if you get there after a certain hour, you will probably not find a marked spot. If you park outside a designated spot, you WILL get towed, and the company that hooks the cars is awful. I dealt with them yesterday and it was the absolute worst experience. When we looked at the apartment, we were told, "You won't have a problem finding parking." Yet when my daughter gets home late from work, she often has to find parking off-site and walk home, which I do not like late at night.Apparently there is a paid parking spot option which we were not told about when we signed the lease, so we will be looking into that.If you are considering renting here, please just be aware of the parking situation and ask a lot of questions.

The apartment complex is in an appalling condition. The management seems to have a lackadaisical approach towards the upkeep of the building. The hallways are littered with trash, and the elevators are not functioning correctly, making it difficult for residents to move around. The stairwells are dimly lit, which poses a potential safety hazard to tenants. The common areas are dirty and have an unpleasant odor that is intolerable. The management is continually coming up with new ways to increase the rent or charge additional fees, putting a financial strain on tenants. The walls are thin, making it challenging to have a peaceful night's sleep. The apartment itself has numerous issues, such as faulty plumbing that leads to leaks and water damage. The paint on the walls is peeling, making the apartment appear unkempt and unappealing. The gym is not maintained properly, with many of the equipment locked up and not accessible to the tenants. The pool is not kept clean, posing a potential health risk to residents. Theft has been reported in the gym, making it a security concern.Overall, I would not recommend living in this apartment complex unless you have no other option. If you are looking for a comfortable, safe, and well-maintained living space, I suggest you look elsewhere. DO NOT COME HERE! ITS HELL.

DO NOT MOVE HERE UNDER ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!! We have been here for less than a month and the living conditions are DEPLORABLE. We did ourselves a disservice by not reading reviews and not doing a more thorough tour of the building. Where to start…from the immense flooding issues throughout the building, black mold, broken down elevators, a dungeon laundry room, NO CONTROL OVER AC/HEAT, subpar customer service from all ends, unkept property grounds, an inaccessible club house, a pool you would probably contract a bacterial infection from, cracked and broken handicap ramps, cigarette and weed smoke 24/7 EVERYWHERE, dog feces EVERYWHERE, a leasing office that apparently has the dream job, Mon-Fri 10-4, eyerolls whenever you actually present a concern, I mean the list could go on for days. I would have been more comfortable and safer honestly living in my car. TRUST EVERY REVIEW YOU READ or you will regret it!!! I literally just got off the phone with emergency maintenance line and the man said “man I ain’t beat for this right now!” CLICK! Hung up on me. You’re better off moving into a homeless shelter, a cardboard box under the Ben Franklin bridge, ANYWHERE but this hell hole!

Elevators have been consistently broken for months. From what I’ve heard from other residents, it’s been like this for an extended period of time. I’m terrified of having my wheelchair-bound grandmother visit and being trapped due to this, considering I live on the upper floors. It has also made moving in a nightmare. When I first moved in, the elevator certificate showed it hadn’t been serviced since 2016. The outdated certificate has been removed but without a functioning elevator, I can only assume that’s still the case. Also, I’ve called for maintenance requests since the first day I’ve moved in for simple things including a dented door knob, missing smoke alarm and air conditioner filter change. It’s been almost three months and no one has addressed these issues. This is even after leaving voicemails to maintenance, speaking with maintenance personnel in the lobby and two calls to the leasing office. Every time I was reassured someone would visit and every time, no one has. Honestly I was excited when I first moved to 100 York. Now I’m pretty disappointed and jaded. I would not recommend living here. The only saving grace is that the front desk employees are nice.

Illegally tows cars. Maintenance requests both regular and emergency take at least 2 weeks. The incompetent leasing staff is scared to ever let you talk to a manager or executive leadership. They give you cheap appliances and then threaten to charge you when they’re not working properly. The area and people are ghetto. No luxury here. Disregard the other reviews, since they paid to have good reviews. Don’t let the cheap prices fool you. It’s cheap for a reason!!!! DONT LIVE HERE. MOLD AND RODENTS. RUN DONT WALK.

I moved in mid July and honestly was a little nervous and skeptical because of some of the reviews...But I must say I am happy with the decision I made to move to 100 York. Gabby the front desk receptionist was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful since day one. She's very knowledgeable and really goes above and beyond to help the tenants feel comfortable and safe here. I have a special needs child so it's super convenient to get around with the ramps and elevators. By the way, all of the elevators are working all the time. They have been fixed and we have not had any issues. The pool was a big hit during the summer. All of the tenants enjoyed some fun in the sun and everyone gets along pretty well. I am really enjoying living here so far and looking forward to the holiday seasons and years to come. Also maintenance is amazing. Darren who usually helps me out is very attentive and on time.

This place is the worst! There’s bugs (fruit flies) throughout the building. There’s 4 elevators and only 2 work, and one of those 2 breaks down every single day. The last inspection certification for the elevators that has been clearly visible to tenants hasn’t been updated looks like since 2019, and has since been taken down after complaints. No replacement certification visible in the elevator since. I have not been able to find a service elevator in the building. There is no ventilation in the apartments, nor the hallways. No central air as described on their website. The laundry room has been closed for 2 days, there were atleast 2 washers and 2 driers broken that have not been attended too. I have only been here for 2 months, and not one of these problems have been addressed. I did reach out about the fruit flies, they put me on the list for the exterminator and the exterminator never came to my unit. The floors in my unit are uneven. Little hills and dips all throughout the living room where it’s hardwood flooring. I have a “vent” in my shower to no where. The hallways remind me of “The Shining” and are very hot and stuffy in the summer since there is no central air or ventilation. Their parking is a joke. Guests are not permitted to park on premises after 7 pm. And they will tow your car at 7:02 pm. They have been in renovations since June of this year, and I have only seen someone painting the hallways. I believe their still “designing”. There is a trash can outside next to one of the doors to enter the building, it is always over flowed and bags piled up next to it.

***9/11/23 The response is all lies! Just this morning 3 of the 4 elevators are STILL BROKEN!!!! Stop lying to us and get this building up to code! It’s a hazardous living space! ?Don’t do it! This place is the pits. Don’t fall for the renovations are coming soon, and the we’re making changes, upgrade signs everywhere etc. bit. They’re not, it’s an ongoing problem. I fell for it and I regret it. Save yourself and go somewhere where they value their tenants. This is not the place. For the money we pay and nothing gets done, it’s not fair. No repairs, broken elevators, mice, roaches, gnats, cigarettes, weed, trash in the stairwell, trash outside, loud neighbors, mold, leaks, unsecured entryways, a mess! Believe the reviews! DON’T DO IT! It’s not worth your sanity or your health. They don’t care about the needs or repairs. They just want the rent with nothing in return. (see the pictures I took and posted)
