“What a magical wedding celebration we had this past weekend at HollyHedge! As mother of the groom all I can say is Thank You to the whole staff! Every single person was helpful, accommodating, patient, knowledgeable…I could go on and on. My elderly parents were well looked after with golf cart rides - mainly because of the snow - which they were constantly clearing all day before guests started arriving. I cannot recommend this venue enough!”

“Beautiful brunch on Sunday! Many choices and all were delicious and wonderfully presented. The fresh pea soup, Brioche French toast and Salmon Eggs Benedict were all amazing. The ambiance provided relaxation amongst a garden of blooming bulbs, cherry trees and a bucolic view. It felt like a breath of fresh air!!! Go!!!”

“This place is truly a gem! As a photographer that has photographed hundreds of weddings - I can honestly say the Manor House at Commonwealth is a rare find. The outdoor grounds are beautiful for photos and the ceremony. The lake is gorgeous at sunset, the old stone house just adds to the cool vibe and the very large covered patio is great for rainy days. It's very difficult to find wedding venues that you can still have your ceremony outside with a great view and be covered from inclement weather. They even have multiple bridal suites. A big bonus in my book :). Definitely check it out if you want a relaxed stress free day with a beautiful setting and friendly staff.”

“We had an amazing experience with MEI, catering and Nick. My retirement party was planned by my friends, and although I was at the initial meeting, I had nothing to do with it after that. The place was decorated beautifully. The servers were practically invisible, and yes, one bartender was enough. Everyone said the food was delicious. Honestly, the dance floor is huge & I highly recommend this venue.”

“Stopped here after a bad experience at the other winery Nissley. So glad we stopped at Chaddsford! Totally redeemed our wine tasting experience. The wines were good, the staff was very helpful and extremely nice and accommodating. They even let me do a small additional taste of a wine I hadn’t selected in my flight choice. And glad they did, ended up being my favorite. If you are in peddlers village stop at Chaddsford, it is well worth it. Great experience! Thank you for saving the day on our mother/daughter outing. Ended up with some great bottles to bring home as well.”

“What a great experience. The food was delicious. The salad bar had everything you can imagine in it and the sides for the main course was fresh. You will leave there full and completely satisfied. I highly recommend the restaurant for dinnerParking: Plenty of space to park on your own or you can choice valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food for children. They can eat everything available as adults.Wheelchair accessibility: Inside was easy to maneuver a wheelchair or walker.”

Denied him entrance, but you can stand in the doorway where he was told " No soup for you"! It's old, historical and right smack on the canal and the river.Fabulous views....Easy 5 stars. “I'm currently a guest here my room is quite nice. I have a walk-in rainfall shower with a seemingly endless supply of hot water. The kitchenette is perfect for those staying for a while and a nice work area with a desk and comfy chair. The hotel has recently undergone a renovation and will find them clean, comfortable, and well maintained. There is also a laundry, workout area. You have a little of both worlds, surrounded by a beautiful wooded, it's a quiet retreat area, yet close to the business area and shopping. I have found the staff very accommodating and kind.”
