Very disappointed we had a membership there and were not able to return for an extended period. New owner was not able to renew my membership as they no longer honor prime membership members. When I joined they charged for the pass card to enter and assured me that if I turned it in when I was not a member I would be reimbursed. That was not honored. Will go to a snap fitness again perhaps but not this one for sure. He explained how costly it was to have prime members and silver sneakers making us feel like the lowest members there as they only receive a little over $2 each time we’d come and only for a certain amount of times easy month. LA Fitness and Anytime Fitness made us feel so much more welcomed and offered classes and so much more.

The variety of equipment that this location has to offer is what I like most about my Snap Fitness experience.

I'm a member; I have been for 3+ years. This gym has every thing you need to get in shape for the first time or stay in shape if you're already an experienced trainee. The premises is very safe & well maintained with more than adequate parking. The club itself is clean with very clean bathrooms; equipment is very well maintained in terms of both functionality & cleanliness. They offer cardio equipment such as 6 treadmills, and 6 elliptical exercise machines. As for weight lifting equipment, they offer dumbbells from 5-100 pounds, as well as resistance bands of all resistance levels for all trainees. Snap Fitness also offers a a bench press, an incline bench press, a Smith machine (which can be used to perform virtually any type of exercise), and a decline bench press, among other equipment available on site. These items are all very popular. The gym also offers many machines that simulate all types of weight lifting exercises. The gym's manager offers limited group fitness classes. He is very knowledgeable about matters of fitness; in addition, he is quite the pleasant conversationalist. I've always known him to very helpful, patient and gentle with beginners; however if you are an advanced trainee who needs someone to push you, he can do that also. I'm sure Todd would love for you to join his group class. Most people are too busy working out to even notice you anyway. There is no 'gym intimidation' or judgement; It's just not that type of environment. Members run the whole range of shapes and sizes. It really doesn't matter what you look like as long as you have a nice attitude and go there to work out, no one will ever have a cross word or a nasty look for you. It is a very comforting environment. in fact, I had my mother join a few months back she is in her mid 60s and not in good shape. She had never actually worked out in her life. She just went in to the gym and started her workouts very light, such as walking on the treadmill at 2.0 miles an hour for only 10 minutes, and nobody looked or said anything. She had said previously that she was intimidated to go there because everyone would be in better shape than her, as well as younger; well she quickly found out was not true. Within 2 or 3 visits, she felt totally comfortable there; and she goes every day 😄. All ages are happily welcomed & accepted! Just this morning, I worked out alongside a woman in her 70s, 2 others likely in their 60s, several gentlemen in their 50s, & a man in his late 30s. Other times, I find myself working out with high school or college students, as well as young professionals. I'm 40 and have a very wide cross-section of friends at the gym. The gym is never crowded; I often go at various times of day or when is convenient, but never at a set time. And I have noticed the least crowded times are about 1 pm or 4 pm. At those times, you are highly likely to be alone, or have 1-2 others sharing the facilities with you. The most crowded times are 11 am or 6-6:30 pm. Even then, you are likely to be sharing the gym with possibly as many as 12-15 other trainees. And the gym is capable of comfortably accommodating about 30 trainees. Crowding is never an issue. The fact that the gym is open 24 hours/day prevents a big log jam at typically busy times. You can go easily at 5 or 6 pm when most people are rushing to 'hurry up and wait' at their gym, and have a great workout at your gym, not being hurried along, waiting for equipment, & generally having an unpleasant experience. I've never had to wait more a minute to use equipment. People will let you 'work in' with them. Sharing is the norm.
