There ARE still honest and reputable auto repair shops around. I'm a retired/disabled veteran with several years of experience as a mechanic. I have taken my vehicle to Schade's twice now to have front wheel bearings replaced and state inspection. They got me in and out quickly and everyone was courteous, respectful, and honest. I will DEFINITELY return if I need any more repairs. Thank you everyone!!!

I’ve used Schade’s twice now, and am still impressed on their work. They have been consistently reasonably priced and completed the work in a timely manner. Definitely plan on going back!

I can't thank the staff at Schade's Auto Repair enough!!! They are trustworthy, honest and fantastic!! I always feel comfortable with their suggestions and know they are looking out for myself and my vehicle. I highly recommend them for all your auto repair needs!!!

Everyone at Schade’s is so nice and they know what they are doing! They also kindly and clearly explain what is going on with your car. I have tried quite a few garages and they are BY FAR the best!

The team at Schade’s auto repair always take care the upmost care of my vehicles. I have taken several cars of mine to this repair shop to have many different work done to them. I have never had an issue with any of their work and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable garage.

Great garage . They are very easy to deal with . They have great communication and very reasonable prices . I’ve never had an issue . Also they have always gotten my car fixed in a very reasonable time .

I'm surprised by the recent negative reviews! I've had different things looked at and repaired here and have always appreciated their honesty and fairness! They will go out of their way to figure out what's wrong and will be honest if they can't find it or if they can't fix it (or if they think the fix wouldn't be worth the time or money). They've referred me to other places when I've needed it/it was out of their hands and told me places to avoid. Sometimes there is a wait to get in, but it's never been more than a few days for me. Glad to have a great shop nearby!

ATTENTION. BEWARE. my daughter got her car fixed at this place. $1000. It still was never fixed they claimed they fixed it then they claimed there was nothing wrong with it. I finally took it to a real mechanic and he told me that the idiots that worked on it did not tighten the bolts to the cradle bar my daughter and her two small kids could have been killed. New mechanic charged me $350 and actually did the job right. He was so disgusted with the job that he told me to call and complain. Well, this is what I’m doing. I would advise everybody to never ever go to this place. I finally had the car fixed and my new mechanic said this guy has to be a total idiot. Do not trust these people with your car. I don’t care how many good reviews you see .

I took my car to this place in march because my steering wheel was feeling tight. The man was nice, I dropped it off pretty soon after I called. I got a call the next day that “they felt nothing wrong” with my steering wheel. But they replaced my battery and a few things and gave me a bill and sent me on my way. I noticed immediately the problem was not fixed, me being the nice person I was, I was just going to say screw it it take it to my regular guy, well he was busy so I decided to call them back, I was met with such a rude attitude about how if it was their fault I should have taken it back sooner, yeah I guess my bad. They fixed it, and over 2000 dollars later, they say my steering shaft went bad. Well ever since the day I drove off that lot my car has felt nothing but weird, to the point I felt unsafe driving it with my kids. I got a little extra money after I was cleaned out by Schades, to take it to my REAL mechanic finally. I was told that Schafer did not tighten the bolts in my steering shaft and it’s been hanging out of the underside of my car. Now I don’t know cars, but I know a bad mechanic.
There has been a response to my review. Pretty much saying I’m wrong and minimizing the amount of money that was wasted, yes, you did show me the joint wasn’t moving, it would have been nice if that was noticed the first time the car was brought in for that exact problem. go ahead and post the receipts because it was so much I had to divide it into different payment methods. But the fact of the matter is, I took my car here, it was returned with the same issue it was brought in with. I took it back after the owner was rude, they finally fixed it after the seccond time (paid both times). And there were still issues. So yeah, I’m saying don’t trust this place.
