This place is a joke. There hours are ridiculous for normal working people (close at 3pm). There is nobody to talk to when checking in, just a digital check-in. I went in as a walk-in but left due to too many people in the waiting room. Went home and created a profile and scheduled an appt. only to show up the next day at 12:40 and all the lights shut off and door locked with a sign that said HVAC issue and the facility was closed for the day. I received no email, text, or notification that my appt was canceled until AFTER I already attempted to check-in on my phone. I got an email at 12:53 that it was canceled. So annoying. There is nobody available to answer calls or talk to at the front desk. I'll take my services elsewhere.

After waiting one hour PAST my APPOINTMENT time, everyone was asked to leave because (1) there was one staff member in the entire facility because there were "three no call/no shows;" and (2) there was supposedly no AC and the facility was over 80 degrees with 17 people in the waiting room and many more who had already left. The Irwin, PA location has degraded beyond explanation recently. Unacceptable mismanagement has become an ongoing issue. Quest wants to be "FULLY AUTOMATED" ... well then their automation should alert appointment-holders when there are facility issues. My time is just as valuable as theirs. I had to drive miles to another facility [after fasting while living with diabetes] and wait two more hours for an opening which caused me to be THREE HOURS LATE FOR WORK! The other facility was shocked that no one had even called and advised them of the issues in Irwin, PA. Where is the corporate communication? Where is reverse-automation to advise clients of site issues? They need to have MORE RESPECT for their clients!

I wish I could remember the name of the person who took my blood. She was extraordinary. She made me feel so comfortable that I actually watched the needle go in my arm. I have never done that before.

The employee was very good at sticking the needle in the vein.

Made an appointment for 7:30 a.m. Six people waiting for same appointment. No humans to talk to just a machine which told me I did not have an appointment but I could wait until 8:40 and I might get chosen from the crowd. Waste of time. Life is too short for such incompetence.

My bloodwork is shared with my doctor quickly and also with me. That is the main reason a choose Quest. Quick results response time.

This place is clearly understaffed. Unclear instructions given, employees having very personal conversations in front of patients. Never again.

The woman that drew my labs was so sweet and funny. She did a great job! I give her a lot of credit for handling very rude people in the waiting room, extremely well.

This was my worst lab experience ever and I’m in my 70’s. The workers there seemed to hate their job and not want to be there. I tried asking a question and they just ignored me. I can’t believe Quest tolerates how mean they act. I left and I’ll go elsewhere.

Every time I go to lab quest in White Oak PA eight sign says welcome, walk-ins welcome and they never take walk-ins. They give me a hard time every single time that I complain to my doctor and then when I do go there in White Oak, I sign in most of the times it will tell you that all appointments are booked and tell you to go into your car and make an appointment well I shouldn’t have to make an appointment if it says walk-ins are welcome. My doctor gave me a 24 hour urine test as well. They only gave me one canister I needed to so hopefully this test will be OK because for how much urine you should put out for what you take in in liquids, I must tell them I am not dehydrated it’s just that she did not give me to work who was needed. They should’ve known that I’ve had this test before and I got two containers but there’s different specific test for this urine test for a 24 hour urine test today I went to take my urine back in. She refused to take my urine and put it in the cooler. She said I have to sign in. I do not have an appointment to drop it off. I have to sign in I was not told by my doctor she said just take it to the lab quest and just drop it off well I was not aware that I had to have an appointment to drop off my urine . I did not need to make an appointment when I picked up my containers so therefore I’m not sure why I need an appointment to drop it off so there was three patients in the waiting room and two or three in the back. A young lady comes in with blood in a Val. She did not have an appointment. She called somebody in the hospital the hospital called them back there. She came back in. They mainly took her blood so I said excuse me am I am not understanding why you’re taking something from her and she doesn’t have an appointment she’s just dropping off she came to the door and she said you just dropping off to the lady. The lady said yeah she took it shut the door ice excuse me I’m just dropping off two she said, but you don’t have an appointment. You have to wait for an appointment so I’m supposed to sit there and let my urine get warm And a heated office in a waiting room after six patients and she was very rude and ignorant to a gentleman that knocked on the window to try to get somebody’s attention and she said everybody’s gonna have to be patient cause I’m only one here I’m not understanding why they booked so many appointments because you know they don’t except walkins on the sign clearly says walk-ins welcome, and now I have to drive somewhere else to drop off this urine, because she refuse to take it from me

Great place. Can make appointment day before. Sucks there is no one in the front to assist older people. Sometimes you have to wait. Looks like they maybe short staffed

I live close to quest and come here for all my bloodwork. They normally always have lots of appointments and when I get there they always take me fast. I never have to wait that long. Staff is always friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend making an appointment since they always take reservations first.

I couldn't believe how fast they called me in being a walk-in! Melissa was the sweetest and kindest person in the medical lab and made me truly feel like she cared about how I was feeling that morning! Chemo really did me in!
