As of March 2024, they no longer will work with chinchillas, which are considered exotic pets, even though the same veterinarian Dr. Lisa works there. I don't know why? But yet they still send me happy birthdays for the chinchilla family that can't be seen. A little ironic. I updated with 3 stars down from 5 because honestly Dr. Lisa is wonderful IF you have a NON-exotic pet.

I've taken all of my pets here since 2001. They accept parrots too, which is a plus for me. I've had good experiences each time. People fuss about the costs of procedures here but to me, you get what you pay for. I'll continue to keep dr. Lisa as my vet as long as she is around.

Would not recommend! My 1 year old puppy now needs major surgery as a result of their lack of care.Brought my dog in as a puppy for routine checkups.Over multiple visits I asked about a suspicious looking tooth when she was approaching a year of age. Was told on multiple occasions that it was not of concern just a baby tooth.Out of frustration and concern I took her to another vet for a second opinion. It was it fact an adult tooth in need of immediate attention. After also consulting with a canine dental expert. It’s been determined that she needs a major dental procedure, most likely resulting in the loss of a major adult tooth. She now has to endure a painful procedure at only a year old.Simultaneously…Early on my puppy developed a rash. Over the course of multiple repeated visits over multiple months…They gave her numerous infections, pills, and topical medications. Also, accusing me of poor care. The rash was causing her to lose fur around those areas. After receiving a second opinion we learned that she was HIGHLY allergic to chicken. This was never mentioned as a possibility by Dr. Lisa. After an exclusion study and other tests the chicken allergy was confirmed by another veterinarian. 4 days after removing chicken from her diet the rash completely disappeared. However her fur didn’t grow back in certain areas. Before writing this review I brought my concerns to the attention of Countryside.Dr. Lisa would not address my concerns directly…she had an assistant call me to argue and deny any wrong doing on their part.

Unfortunately a very limited experience, but when we really needed help, they were open, affordable, and compassionate.

I want to start off by saying that Dr. Lisa is absolutely phenomenal at her job and I have nothing bad to say about her. She has cared for my rabbit for over three years now with no complaints. However, the vet technicians are a different story. Lucy is nothing short of nasty and inconsiderate to not only the animals she cares for but for the pet parents as well. We brought our rabbit for his usual grooming appointment, as he is very finicky and dislikes being handled at home. Upon arrival at home, we immediately notice he cannot hop correctly nor gain any type of balance to hop around and eat, drink and go in his litter box. Mind you, he was stationary for the rest of the night except when he would occasionally try to hop. It is very clear that he was mishandled by Lucy during his appointment since he was in perfect condition prior to taking him to the vet with none of the aforementioned issues. We take him back and it is figured out that he has a back injury and GI stasis, both of which could be deadly in rabbits. We then asked to have the $185 in appointment fees waived and were accused of mishandling our rabbit at home, causing the injury and that she will not waive a fee for something that happened at home. This is the second time he has left her supervision in a worse state than he arrived in, with the first time being a cut around his anal area during a sanitary shave. I'm sure the other vet technicians are lovely, but Lucy is a demon spawn who will not properly care for your animals. Update: Thumper was wrongly misdiagnosed with a back injury and actually has acute peripheral vestibular disease thanks to Lucy mishandling him. Head on over to K Vets for all of your rabbit needs instead.

Had a situation not completely an emergency but one where I was concerned, and wanted same day appointment for my senior dog. Called to explain the situation as we are new to this area. She cut me off stating no appointments for two weeks. I understand appointments may not be available but don’t cut me off and rudely turn me away, just let me talk, be concerned and help me. New to the area and will not ever take any of my pets here. Honestly surprised with all the great reviews.

countryside is the worst all they are about is making money ! My husband took our golden doodle for his shots and for heart guard and flea and tic medication they changed almost $600 and wouldn't give him a prescription for the heart guard and flea and tick unless we payed $35 more

This place went downhill after they moved. I'm not sure if it's to play for all the marble decor or what but before, they cared about your pet and pet parents. Now they care about trying to "upsell" at every visit and suggest useless tests that have nothing to do with why my pet is there. And every time my dog needed a refill, he needed seen by the vet. Why? It was a maintenance med. The final straw was when my dog partially tore his ACL and options were surgery or "don't let him run for 2weeks". How? No suggestions for supporting it, keeping an active dog non active, or anything else. I felt like they wanted me to go home, fail at trying to keep him from running around so it would tear all the way and be forced in to the $10k surgery. I changed vets, got support/suggestions, med refills with a phone call and a dog that can run again freely with no surgery. I used to be sad because Dr Lisa appeared to really care but her focus seems to have changed and we are all happier now elsewhere.

Have been coming here for at least the past 25 yrs. The vet and staff has taken care of all my dogs and me like their own. Can’t be more helpful or caring. Even kept my sick dog in the office when we went on vacation as all their cages were full. Their hours are long and 6 days a wk. Wouldn't take my best friends anywhere else. Everyone is truly wonderful!

Dr. Lisa and her staff are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They are very compassionate to the owners when having to make hard decisions with their fur babies. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.
