They advertise and have a wonderful website, but they aren't accepting new clients? How busy can they be and why advertise?

I had been taking my little Shih Tzu, Holly, to this clinic ever since she was 6 months old when she was spayed. She never had any health problems until I took her on August 30, 2024 to this clinic for her yearly Bordetella shot. There must have been something wrong with the shot or the syringe was dirty because Holly developed a cough the next day and every time she coughed she tried to project something up. I thought a piece of her Rachel Ray Nutrish soup bone was stuck in her throat and she was trying to expell it. The coughing continued, but it wasn't until roughly 2AM on Friday, September 6th, that she couldn't catch her breath to the point where she collapsed in my arms. I gently shook her and breathed into her mouth which seemed to revive her. I called this clinic as soon as they opened and insisted on bringing Holly in to be examined. They didn't think they could do anything for her because they didn't have any oxygen to give her, but they said to bring her in and they'd see what they could do. Well they dropped the ball . They gave her an X-ray and said she had an enlarged heart and some inflammation in her lungs. They gave me an antibiotic which I was to give Holly twice a day for 14 days. Why couldn't they have given her a shot of anitbiotics there or a steroid shot to reduce the swelling in her lungs? They did neither and as a reuslt, 4 hours after we got home from The Veterinary Clinic of Indiana, my little dog died. I was on the phone with an emergency hospital when she passed. I hold this clinic liable for the death of my Holly and if I ever have another dog, I will NOT take them to this clinic. If you don;t want your pet to end up like my Holly, find another Veterinary clinic. They wouldn't even refund a portion of the $300. they charged me that day.

The staff at Veterinary Clinic of Indiana are amazing people. They care about our pets and provide top quality care and medical advice to help us keep them healthy. Our dogs love going to the veterinarian because of the wonderful staff and caring environment. I recommend them at every chance I get.

Does not take new clients or emergencies. So if you have a sick pet, don't waste your time.

This clinic used to be great. I’ve taken my pets there for many years. Unfortunately this place has declined rapidly in the last year. Limited hours. Limited appointments. Prices keep going up as service keeps going down. My dog who has been a patient there his entire 13 years that I suspected may be in liver failure and was told no available appointments for 2 days. Clearly in pain and I was told sorry we are booked. Well sorry I’m changing vets. If I can’t be showed the same loyalty that I have shown this office for many years it is time to take my pets elsewhere.

We had a sick cat that needed treatment. I called them and they never called back. I stated exactly what was going on and the need to be seen in my message. We went to another vet and got treatment for a tooth infection. After about 6 weeks I remembered them not calling and contacted them again. They may not have called us back because they're not taking new patients was their reason maybe. Sick animal no call back by a vet. Why are they advertising all over Facebook and Google if they don't want new customers. I don't think I'd trust these people or recommend them. they must be overwhelmed and unable to manage even their phones.

Nothing but praise for the staff! Been going to this office since we moved into the area, in 2012. Questions answered, compassion shown and we really enjoy seeing CECIL (the canine office manger), he brightens up our day when his mom brings him out !!

I cannot explain how frustrating this place became to deal with! To the point of having to find another place to get my pets non narcotic meds
