People here are very nice, But I feel like I was sold a car with no inkling to the problems it had. I had the opportunity to buy a different vehicle and I wish I would have. I Bought the car in May 2024. It is now September 2024 and I went back for inspection, which they were hesitant to give me a free inspection after I just spent $15,000 because, “ The sticker cost them $15”.
I’m not a picky person but come on that’s a little bit ridiculous. I did a trade-in too. Not only did I buy a car from them, but I gave them my old one to sell. I went in for this inspection and came out with $1064 less. They sold me the car with a rusted, leaking exhaust And I had to get a ball joint replaced. I had no knowledge of any of this.
I asked the mechanic to see if they had seen the issues prior to selling the vehicle and his answer was, “It’s PA, things rust in PA”. It doesn’t take four months For all of my exhaust pipes to rust to the point of leaking. Long story short I don’t like the excuses. Stuff should’ve been replaced And I’m never going back. I advise you don’t either.

I’ve purchased multiple vehicles from Southtowne Motors over the years. I’ve been happy with the experience every time. Bill and Brad are great to work with. The service department has been servicing my vehicles for just as long. Joe the head mechanic always explains things to me in a straight forward manner. I never feel like I’m being taken advantage or being ripped off. I have at other shops, but not here. Brian always makes scheduling easy and lets me know the status of my car when it’s there. I highly recommend this place for both auto repairs and sales.

I've been taking my vehicles to Southtowne since 2011. Family owned business, and have always treated me with kindness. Reasonable prices, and my repairs have always been completed in a timely fashion. I have never taken my vehicles anywhere else in town. Always recommended Southtowne to my friends.

The South town Motors is the worse place to shop. The owner Carol Scott has really bad customer service skills. Her tone and attitude is grim. She's rude and short patient. I felt like "wow" maybe we should go some where else. But the maintenance department crew seemed much better to talk to. If this review seems for-fetched just call & and see for yourself.

Very upset. Set up time to meet the owner Bill. Waited in their parking lot for an hour and a half even after talking to the Secretary. As well as, looking at the vehicle it was obviously in much worse condition then described. Never did meet Bill and i hope i never do.
