It's honestly okay. You get some shady characters, the store isn't so clean. It's small, but has what you need for the most part. It now has a self checkout, which is nice. There's a better Dollar General in Indiana so if you want cleaner, and bigger, then go to that one... It's on the other side of town kind of, next to Big Lots near PNC and the YMCA.

There are small goblins in the area that ARE stealing jars so be very aware of these pesky predators. If you DO see a goblin please 1. Whistle at it once ten feet away. It will scare the goblin and convince it not to return. Two. Hide all jars and other glassware. DO NOT under any circumstances feed the goblin even if you have shrimp or other small treats in your car glove box, as most of us do. This will keep the goblin nearby for YEARS to come. I have been harassed by a single goblin named Bimblo now for twelve years because I gave it shrimp when I was 5 years old, so I have expertise that can be shared.

Just paid $2.25 for a small bottle of Gatorade when the price on EVERY label in that section for Gatorade said $1.80 where did the extra dollar come from. They need to change the labels if that's what they're going to charge or stopped scamming people out of money. Also there was $0.14 for tax don't know when we started taxing food. At this point it's cheaper just to go to dairy Queen and get a drink. ?

Hello managers! I’m unsure what her name is, but the short red hair girl is a horrible employee. My roommate came home today and talk about how rude this girl was, how she yelled at her that she was going to kick her out when she was there to pick up ice cream at 9:50! Plenty of time. And guess what?! I said “let me guess, she had short red hair”. I don’t care if they don’t smile, but she is mean and just unhelpful. And says mean things for no reason. The last time I was there, she rolled her eyes just when I said hello. Do whatever you please, but don’t shop there when that horrible person is there. Why work in customer service if you are that mean of a person. Do better dollar general.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt the service was incredibly bad so a review was justified. I went in a bit before closing (annoying, I know) with plans to get one thing very quickly. The girl at the counter, short red hair, was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Won’t be coming back!

I don't know what it was recently, but I made a run going to many different Dollar General stores. I was shopping with my dad a lot and he seems to like DG so much that he jokingly calls them 'The Mall' since they are popping up in such odd locations in smaller communities.Since we had already stopped at one in this area and didn't find what we wanted there, we decided to come here to see if they had the item in question before we headed to a big box store. This one was easy to get to but hard to park at.Even though the spots were clearly marked where you can and cannot park, people just parked wherever they pleased. Areas that were meant to allow for easier maneuvering in the lot and marked as no parking, people were parking because they were too good to have to walk a few extra steps. Honestly put up a barrier or something so that no one would park there.Inside was constantly busy. With the constant flow of traffic in the parking lot meant for a constant flow of customers in the store. Not always a good thing in a DG. I mean we all know the aisles are narrow and sometimes cluttered with carts. Like other locations there were a lot of items on the top of shelves, but missing on the shelves where a customer could reach it.

Great prices, great selection, and it seems like they are actually doing a good job at keeping thing neat and organized. Ive watched customers take 10-12 pairs of shoes off the shelf, try them on, then leave them lay wherever they want instead of putting it back. Its a shame the employees have to work so hard because of careless customers!

The old lady that works in there is extremely slow I stood in line for 45 min while she helped only one person and the line was all the way to the door. They need to hire help that works faster and more efficient

The cashier that waited on me tonight never should be allowed to work in customer service. She never acknowledged me and never spoke a word the whole transaction. When leaving I said Thank you and she looked away like it was an inconvenience that I was there.

We wanted to make cookies and have ice cream. We went to bilo first and it was closed. We stopped at dollar general and were able to pick up chocolate ice cream, refrigerated cookies and cinamon rolls. The cashier was friendly and there was no line.
