On Thursday evening I came to the store to buy live lobsters with my guests from Germany who really wanted to eat home made Maine lobsters. We got to a seafood department where I asked the gentleman to pick me 6 lobsters to which he said I am not sure if I can help you because I am not good on catching them. ( he also looked as he was afraid to get them out of the tank). He was very annoyed that I came to his department. I asked him if he can call someone that can help him- he said no I am the only one. After he realized I still want to proceed with my purchase, he had no choice, but to try catching them… So for about 5 minutes of fighting in a tank catching one and then releasing it back to a tank, catching another one and throwing it on the floor (where he stands in his shoes that he wears outside and in the bathroom) he stepped away and came back angry. picked the lobster from the floor and proceeded with placing it in my bag. I asked him not to give me the one from the a dirty floor. He started arguing with me and ignored my request. I asked another associate for a store manager on duty to assist with a purchase and to replace the one from a floor. Store manager (didn’t get his name) was extremely rude he was badmouthing about us behind the counter, he was nasty to us…he ignored my another request and told the guy (loud to make sure we can hear him that there’s nothing wrong with the lobster you need to know how to f…. cook them) there was no apology or anything on his end…
Is this what customer service is all about? I used to go to Weiss all the time as we live 3 minutes away, but now, I won’t step my foot in a store where customers are not being appreciated and treated like garbage just because they came to spend money in your store. I wouldn’t continue with my purchase and go else where if I didn’t have guests with me… I was really embarrassed by both of their behavior and people that were with me were speechless….

Shopping once a week for years for family.Self checkout is a joke, every two items you have to put back or rescan or wait for someone to scan a card. After 12-14 hours of working I want a hassle free of I give you money I leave with groceries. They refuse to have someone on register past 5:00PM and last Friday was the end.
they use self checkout as a answer to not staffing instead if a convenience for people with 3 items.
They were rude everytime I brought this up.
Yes I will your do your job for you, I look forward to it, after I punch in and you pay me to shop for over 30 minutes and find out now another 30 minutes of ringing myself out with a machine that isn't designed for a cart full of items.
And over two years it took them to fix My rewards card.
I called their customer service as this store just doesn't care and told them after an hour of shopping now I have to drive to giant and they can get my money as they actually staff knowing people work past 5 .I even bagged for them. I have managed many retail stores including a grocery store & have never seen such a disrespectful scapegoat whatever attitude. Hours of operation until 5 everday.
Called this number no response and was promised a call back over 5 days ago from customer service from weis. Thanks for confirming you don't care.

Never go to one of these stores. I spent an hour and a half in the store. Initially, I went there for oil and garlic, specifically peeled garlic. Of course, I ended up picking up many other things, but the experience was frustrating from the start.bdxaise no one was in produce to
assist
I had to return to the produce section five times, which was incredibly inconvenient. At the end of my shopping, when my cart was very full, I sought help from three employees. Despite my requests, no one was able to assist me. A guy finally told me, “Oh, it’s over in produce. I can't leave.” This response left me feeling abandoned.
Desperate for assistance, a off duty store employee who wasn’t even on dufor-was asked or help me in finding the peeled garlic. He spent a good 20 minutes trying to help me but ultimately couldn’t find anyone who worked in the store to assist us. After that ordeal, I proceeded to stand in line because I wanted help with my checkout—self-checkout was not my preference.
When I reached the front, the cashier informed me that I needed a card for a discount but couldn’t help me acquire one. Frustrated, I returned all my groceries to my cart and headed over to customer service, only to find a sign saying it was closed for lunch. I waited ten minutes, and still, no one came. I waited another five, and once again, there was no one to assist me in getting the card I needed to pay for my items.
Eventually, I was told that I had to walk over to a man waiting at the door. However, when I approached him, he stated that he couldn’t leave his post. He pulled out his card, scanned it, and then simply walked away, leaving me without the help I needed.
During my brief interaction with self-checkout, I encountered a problem, but the employee who had helped me earlier was nowhere to be found. After waiting another five minutes for assistance that never came, I left my cart behind. This experience was ridiculous, and the sign I saw saying “closed for lunch” perfectly encapsulated how unacceptable the customer service was. I will never go to one of these stores again.

Never anyone at customer service. Want to get a propane refill….was told sold out. That’s a lie…doesn’t want to open the register to charge me. Never again.

It's a grocery store with average prices - people need to eat. Not much else to say. You can also get sushi (discounts on Wednesdays?) and booze/select wine here as well. Nothing too vast, but gets the job done. Occasional seafood (crab legs) discounts that are nice. Foods expensive, lol.

Brought my own 2 bags into the store with me & at check out, cashier charged me $1.50 for 2 Weis bags. Although they refunded me the $1.50 it was inconvenient having to come back to the store. So check your receipt b4 leaving the parking lot.

Second time at this location prices and sales are good but I just stood in self checkout for five minutes and the computer said they needed a employee as she came over she said" get out of the way" mind you rude how she worded it but the tone as well me and my friend just stood stunned how rude she was.
