I would like to report a very unsatisfactory and small minded experience I had with the phone receptionist at the Hummelstown office. I have been required to submit a W9 to The Old Factory Antique outlet. I then requested a W9 from OF so that I could report the rent I pay on my schedule C in compliance with the IRS. I was told it would take weeks because signatures were needed and hard to acquire. Do I need to contact the IRS to get compliance with this request???? The phone call accused me of being rude when all I was asking was resolution after not hearing anything from your office.
