“I stopped in to check out Trellis several months ago. Located in an old church building, they house several vendors who sell home decor, gifts, handcrafted wood products, antiques, books, food items, and so much more. Charley, one of the co-owners, was very nice and helpful and I found the place to be very inviting and eclectic. Definitely worth visiting for unusual items and cool stuff!”

“We saw a piece there a few weeks ago. We decided today to pick it up. As expected, it was no longer available. When we were asked if we needed any help, my wife explained what she was looking for. The clerk went online, and when that failed, she called other stores to find the item. It will be delivered to our local store in a few days. Outstanding customer service!”
“For anyone that has mixed emotions about consignment shopping, this should be your first stop. Treasures from Home is located on the square in Linglestown, with a restaurant and coffee shop within steps. This quaint shop offers quality consignment clothing, shoes, jewelry, and designer purses, along with housewares and a small amount of furniture. Lori (the owner) is very gracious and helpful. There is also a nice selection of new items, such as soaps and lotions, and more. It's really worth a visit....in addition to weekly sales inside the shop, clearance items, both homegoods and apparel, are on the front porch, and are great buys, along with the treasures you can find inside.”

“I'm so new to sewing, and don't have any projects behind me. The workers were beyond patient. They explained how to work through a pattern catalogue, how to pick the right amount of fabric, and even suffered through too many prospective fabric measurements with good humor. I remember Kaye (sp?) even paused to make sure I meant to buy the stretchy stuff. I'm someone who knows approximately nothing about sewing, and I came and left feeling that special space between being respected and not being preyed upon. Glad to have visited here.”

“Needed a quality recliner on a budget. Was going to purchase from Amazon but my son talked me into going over to VCF during their Labor Day sale. I have multiple mobility/pain issues so I prefer to stay in. But I'm so glad he got me over there. Actually testing out the various chairs made a huge difference. Our sales person, Kim, was so helpful!! She made navigating the store, comparing all the options, and really everything about this purchase so easy!! Highly recommend her!”

“We called from out of state looking for a very particular mothers' day gag gift - on mothers' day - and wow did they deliver! Pat from the greenhouse is a national treasure. We asked for the smallest, ugliest, Charlie Brown citrus tree they had in stock, and Pat understood the assignment perfectly. She took the time to find the most hideous little tree, slapped an ugly bow and a personalized note on it, and even delivered it locally.
What a delightful experience to be on the phone when it arrived at our mother's door. Her exasperated laugh was worth every penny of the very reasonable price. The tree is ugly as hell but perfectly healthy, even has a few sad little limes on it. Now our mother will feel obligated to keep it and love it forever.
Thank you Pat and Stauffer's for giving us all a good laugh, and for delivering the best worst mothers' day gift. You guys are awesome! ?”
