ME Bell Quality meats have high quality cuts at reasonable prices. We especially love their bacon!!! They have a smoker on property that they use to smoke all the bacon. Their prices on bacon are cheaper than the big box stores with much higher quality.

Whether Bell's is a short ride for you if you live in Hummelstown, or if you're coming in from further, but you grew up in or near Hummelstown and still live there, or if you've moved away but occasionally come back when you're in the area, going to Bell's Meat Market is like taking a time machine back to the 1950s in a really good way. Simpler times simpler foods, traditional Pennsylvania fare, and with them the joys of a simpler, slower life. The sweet sticks are to die for. No better sausage is made anywhere. The chicken is great, the lunch meats are great, particularly the Lebanon bologna, The cuts of chicken and steak are top-notch. If you've never tried this place or if you used to go there but have kind of forgotten about it as life gets busy and you simply get your meats at a supermarket, please remember Bell's and stop in sometime and make a large order. They will appreciate it and my guess is it will leave you happy as well.

M.E. Bell's Meat Market is a Hummlestown staple, located just a short drive north of the square, this Meat Counter sells all of your favorite products from Kunzler, as well as home processed goods such as sweet sticks and liverwurst. We enjoy their beef jerky and Italian Grillers ($4.59/lb), as well as deer sticks. This place is a throwback to the olden times where the shop keeper knows everyone's name and chats with you for a minute while they're getting your order ready. They process deer for a few of aprox $75. Decent sized lot, we have always paid cash.
