Well 2 guys came to my house (smelling like pot) and spent all of 5 minutes. To tell me that it is the same problem they came out here for a year ago. Now the original time they came out I was instructed to call Samsung and have them fix it. This time they told me I owed them $588.30 for them to fix it as they would never suggest going somewhere else. So moral of the story I have paid $136.74 twice for Dave’s appliance to come out and do NOTHING. Save your money, time and energy and go somewhere they can help you because it isn’t here!!!

It is a shame zero stars is not an option. Worked with this company several times before it changed ownership and the service was always great. Unfortunately, that all changed with the new ownership. Our dryer wasn't working. After their repairman found the issue, I asked if I should just buy a new dryer instead of paying the expensive repair cost. He said no- that once he fixed it, it would be good as new. I shouldn't have trusted him. They had to send several guys out over the span of multiple months. After over $1000 in repair costs, they said they couldn't figure it out and I should contact the manufacturer but refused to refund all the costs I had to pay, only offering a miniscule discount. If you'd like to pay $800+ for repairs that won't happen then have to buy a new dryer after all, feel free to roll the dice with this company. Huge waste of time and money. The icing on the cake was that I gave this company numerous chances to make it right but they stopped responding via email and no one ever responds on social media. I know a lot of people that used to trust this company. They all now know to look elsewhere for reliable, reputable service.

Not on time but I understand, Dave was friendly and professional. He gave me an estimate and explained why I should keep my existing dishwasher. Waiting for parts and job to be finished in a few days. I would highly recommend this company.

Horrible!!! Charged almost $700 to fix my drawer microwave (only one year old). After 4 visits to my home, they could not figure it out so they took my microwave to their shop. They held it for more then a year and I only got it returned after calling several times. They did PARTIALLY refund for the part; however, I paid for over $300 in labor with the expectation of fixing my appliance, which is still broken.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would! Horrible business practices. I will never use this company again. I wish that I had read the reviews first! Dave's Appliance looks for the quickest and most expensive way (for the customer) to repair your appliance!
3/19/24 -I lost $1,230 plus $150 (small claims court). Dave Foster stole this amount from my credit card after making several mistakes on this repair. He installed the wrong compressor and filled the system with wrong gas which caused the entire system to fail and totaled the whole refrigerator worth $2,000 and made it unrepairable. My only saving grace is that the manufacturer replaced the appliance because of the warranty.
Dave never returned any of my 3 calls. Dave and his receptionist are liars and provide zero customer service. Dave even lied under oath during a hearing in small claims court and I have documentation that proves it. Despite this the court found in judgement for them. I will never again spend any money and time on small claims court in Horsham - I totally disagree with this judgement by Judge Todd Stephens.

Fully took advantage of senior citizen. Igniter of oven replaced. Charged for service call at $136.74 plus labor (total time at call was 30 mins) and part. Charged $433!!! Make it make sense. Part is approx $40. When disputed they couldn’t tell us why their ignitor was $150.
Edit- Do your research on companies before calling for service! I learned the hard way.
The work order was not signed prior to doing the work, only after. The work was already completed when I was reached. No matter how you slice this, $280 for labor and service is excessive for what was done. From entering my home to leaving, the technicians were there for 30 mins. Shame on this business.

Do not recommend. Spent 30 mins to fix the dryer & charged over $300 in labor. Major red flag is when they ask you to pay deposit on the phone before they come out. I felt extremely ripped off.

I called to have a repair on my clothes washer a few years ago. It still bothers me to this day, so I decided to write something up as to why I am not recommending this specific appliance repair company.
I took the day off of work, had my cell phone and (at the time) my house phone with me in each room I was in as I went about my day getting jobs done. I left the front door open to visually see when the truck arrived for my repair. After waiting 2 hours past my "scheduled arrival time window", I called the office to inquire where my technician was?
Their response: "The notes state that the technician was already there and completed the repair." I replied that I have taken the day off of work, waited very patiently, even 2 hours past the scheduled time, carried 2 phones with me just in case they called me, and now I am being told that they were already here? Where? When? How? Then they said they could send another repair person tomorrow to fix the original problem. Um, no I cannot lose another day of work for the potential for this to happen again! No, thank you!
I will call a reputable, responsible, reasonable appliance repair company that has employees that actually do their jobs and not lie about doing their jobs. When I see folks posting on social media asking for reliable companies for appliance repairs, I try to comment as much as I can that they should not trust this appliance repair shop when someone suggests this particular company.

These man should not be in business his tech told me I needed a new compressor asked him if it was worth getting fix and he said yes came out on a Thursday and relplaced the compressor called Friday and told him fridge was still hot He came on Monday and put another compressor in waited till Wed to go and replace everything I loss in food the first time The fridge worked for 4 days and broke I loss all my food again I ask to speak with him I wanted my 1100 hundred back that I paid him he said he would sent a tech out to look at the fridge via his employer he never spoke with me the tech pulled it out said it was the compressor and for me to call the office and ask for my money back again the owner DAve would not speak with me and told his employer that he would give me some of my money back but his manager would not be I to Friday He is the owner and he did not handle any of this He is not a good bussinesd man and he has no charterer he refund to give me my full refund I had to file a complaint with the better business I am 76 years old and on a fixed income My brother had a busdinezx for years and never expected his employer to handle any issues he alway did it I beg you go t use this man’s services

Dave’s came out to repair a leak in front load washer machine. Tech said the tray where detergent sits was cracked and part was no longer available. I’d have to buy a new machine. After a few days of crawling around the machine myself, I discovered a tear in door seal. Tray was fine. Really surprised tech didn’t check an obvious failing seal. 3 days later, no return call from Dave’s on estimate to repair the simple door gasket. I guess I’ll do it myself. Better than buying a new machine!

Dave came to my home twice in the past 7 months to fix a dishwasher. First, the motor burned. Dave went out, got new motor and replaced it, and fixed all under 2 hours; it included moving the dishwasher out of its spot. Second, I thought it's motor again as we were getting standing water again. Dave came, looked a motor, and found a piece of broken glass (I broke couple glasses during loading) in the belt. Dave's repair services staff is knowledge, helpful, answer all my questions and do very good job!!

No wonder they have a rating the low. I should’ve looked before I made the appointment.,but I didn’t and this is what happened.My dishwasher broke, so I just googled appliance repair near me and call the first that came up, which is shocking too with the rating of two stars I’m not sure how they coming up first so I called Dave’s appliance repair. They came in next day to look what happened besides the point that it’s always clean in my home and nobody ever walk in their shoes on. I also vacuumed and mopped the floor before they came in thinking that they probably gonna be working on the floor and I wanna make sure that the floors are clean , silly of me )))so when they knock on the door and I opened it two people walked in straight in to my kitchen in their shoes without even stopping for one second and asking is that OK ????And when I gain back my speech because I lost it for a second I asked ,are you guys gonna be in your shoes ,you don’t have anything to cover it with ?they both looked at me like I’m crazy , and pulled up a little like a hand towel or something put it on the floor and said if you want we could be standing on it and I was trying to picture it How are they gonna be fixing /looking at a dishwasher while standing on a small ,very small like a hand towel small cloth, so after they told me it’s a pump and I need to order one and the soonest it’s can be fixed is on Thursday of next week and that was Friday so we’re talking about five days,it’s just a pump , and I explained to them that we’re leaving on vacation and we have a big trip before that, and if we are going to do that ,that the only day I can do this is Tuesday so I was reassured that on Tuesday morning they’ll be here to repair it, and that’s the only reason why I signed that piece of paper, saying that yes I agree to pay that fee .so Tuesday comes and there’s a snow and yes at 7 AM There was a lot of snow but after 10 AM all the snow were gone and I called their office at 10:30 and said can someone please come in because I explained the situation before ,I explained why ,why I needed for them to be here that particular day and what I heard is well the boss is already let everybody go home,and get this IF HE Changes his mind I’ll let you know!!!!!!
I was speechless. I said he might feel very important. Have all this power over people who need their repairs ,I said bye and hang up. The next day when they call to say that they be there in about 20 minutes. I said that I might be a few minutes behind them because I have to drop my kids to school and answering service told me that nobody’s gonna wait. I said after yesterday , after fact that I have to change everything all the plans on the day of a big trip because they didn’t come in yesterday if they will wait for 15 minutes nothing will happened ,but I wasn’t going to be late 15 minutes and if she would’ve listened to me she would’ve heard that, so I make this long story short no one show up , when I called an hour later, asking why no one here , got yelled at ,blamed for things that were turned, completely upside down,made fun of my accent .So they took my money ,they never came to Repair , They were extremely rude during the visit, extremely rude the answering service so No I would not recommend this business. because it’s not a business this is a joke. They think that this is inside of their kitchen. This is how they talk to customers
all I got from them is in charge on my card,and bad service,. He could’ve simply asked me if there is a way I could get the repair person to my home, if I wanna do that because he knew that I needed that dishwasher to be repaired, and if you’re a small business ,specially if you’re small business , you should be communicated with your customers you can’t talk to people like you their boss,Boss should not talk like that to their people , Customers never.

ABSOLUTE DISCRACE! I called Dave's for a dryer vent cleaning and was told I had to pay 140$ deposit for someone to come out JUST to look where the vent was located. I was told whatever the cost was would be subtracted from the deposit. 2 men came, looked and saw the vent was on the roof, they said they did not bring a ladder, which was a lie because there was one on their truck. I was also told it was too cold outside. They then gave me an estimate for 450.00$. I called in an attempt to get my deposit back considering how unprofessional the men were, and was rudely told that I took up a time slot that could have gone to someone else. They were here for 5 minutes. DISGUSTING COSTUMER SERVICE!
