There is not much in Hooversville when you drive through. Prior to this being a DG it was a Family Dollar. When they were bought out by Dollar Tree this location was probably one of the few that DT decided to close up. It sat empty for a hot minute until DG started to aggressively expand. I know I said this in another DG review of mine, but I'll say it again, DG can be a bit parasitic and come in and take over a store faster than they can tear it down. In all fairness, the former FD was fairly new and it would have been a shame for it to sit unused. They slapped some paint on it and filled it with the DG wares. Surprisingly the inside is fairly neat and put together. Unlike some locations where there are carts of goods blocking aisles. It was easy to move about to find whatever it was I was looking for. In fact I ended up walking out of here with more than I intended. Actually I forgot what I came in here for. Staff were polite when I dealt with them. The parking lot is rather large compared to most DGs out there. It is a definite plus for the people in the area as it saves them with a quick trip to pick up a forgotten item.
