I have been using Euthyrox for 4 or 5 months now and am very glad I switched from Levothyroxine. I had heard about the benefits of Euthyrox (better packaging allows for a more accurate, therapeutic dose) so I asked my doctor about it. He was fine prescribing it as a DAW but was concerned I might have a higher copay. Well, my copay was actually lower! The only thing to be aware of is to make sure the pharmacy gives you the correct brand. It took 2 to 3 times before they gave me Euthyrox but since then I have not had any issues. Totally recommend switching to an upgraded brand without the upgraded price! Bottom line, I feel better too!

After researching this wonderful drug, I asked my doctor to prescribe this as DAW (dispense as written). I've been on "Euthyrox" for 9 months and it has made a world of difference. My numbers have come down thus allowing my dosage to be reduced. I feel more awake and refreshed. I was able to get this at Walmart and the price was the same as their generic brand. I've priced this at Rite Aid and CVS and the prices are very affordable. I advise anyone who is looking for a better solution to their current hypothyroidism care to ask your doctor to prescribe this. Ask them to check the DAW box on a digital Rx or write it on the paper Rx. Euthyrox is affordable, available everywhere and most importantly the best solution for my thyroid disorder that I've used in the 20 years since I was first diagnosed.

For years I have taken levoxyl and have always had a TSH in the proper range. This refill was provided by Walmart in July in BUBBLE PACKS. Insanity trying to open them. I have always had pills in a bottle. It’s so nice that the company is trying to keep our pills away from moisture and bright lights, but I have done that on my own for years, thank you. My last TSH just tested was 8 (eight, whole number). I see other people have reported similar numbers. Drug ineffectiveness is the real problem to be talked about. The packaging is secondary with an extremely elevated TSH. I think this goes to the FDA.Janice Dickson

Walmart added Euthyrox Synthroid as an option and said they may not be able to get the Sandoz brand in the future. I agreed to try the Euthyrox. The drug seemed to be ok. I couldn't seem to tell a difference but have not had blood work done to confirm. That being said, the packaging is not good. I ended up popping the pills out of the blister pack and putting them in my weekly pill box. I don't understand the logic & design of the packaging and switched back to Sandoz.

So I was recently switched over to Euthyrox at Walmart Pharmacy. Let me tell you first what I think about the packaging...for those of us who are senior citizens or those with arthritic hand conditions the burst packs are absolutely inappropriate. I have to get someone in my household to do this for me. Secondly...there is Braille on the box. I worked in Ophthalmology for 48 years.... while it is commendable that you do this I liken it to Braille on drive up ATM's...absurd. if I require Braille how the hell am I going to SEE where the pills pop out to. Someone with common sense needs to be consulted. This is not the first med I received like this and in the past have demanded I be switched to a non burst out product. Please start to THINK when you are designing how your meds are distributed and don't say it is safer ....not an argument in my book.

I am so happy that Walmart is offering this product for hypothyroidism. It seems more pure than the other levothyroxine meds I've had. Very effective. Hope they keep on offering it at Walmart.

It felt like it gave me a heart attack and it does not work at all! I am so fatigued. Had to seek out the Levothyroxine that I have been taking for 25 years. Tried to post with 0 stars, but it would not let me post this without clicking 1 star..
