I would give Honesdale Post Office zero stars if I ever well could because I do not live in Honesdale and they’re holding my package at their place, that was suppose to come late last month when I live hours away and they refuse to correct the situation unless I come up there, which is a waste of gas and time for me.

I do not recommend this post office since they allowed someone to steal my fiancée’s package when she and I couldn’t pick it up as we live hours away.

I never get my mail or packages on time. They say attempted deliver even if I was home all day..no one would ever show up. Rescheduled a package delivery and it never showed up. Phones don't work. Worst mail experience of my life.

I always get great service and the people working there are friendly. I haven't had to wait more than 5 minutes anytime I've been there. Lucky to have them. We should be grateful..

Very poorly Orchestrated I have not received mail Getting very sick of this Getting very sick of this . Late on my bills because I never get them on time or not at all at least once a month I have some random person drop my own mail off because it was the wrong address happens monthly I try mailing my child support and other bills out and they don’t even pick them up I’m getting penalties late fees because of this it’s ridiculous short staffed or not figure it out or I’m gonna send you all my late fees you can pay them

I wish I could give negative stars. I never get my packages on time. It will say attempted delivery even when no one ever tried delivering anything. Once had to pick up a package from the post office because the carrier couldn’t fit the package through the door. The width of the package was about 6 inches and miraculously somehow I was about to fit it through the door. I’ve never had an issue with fedex or ups, but every single time without out fail usps makes some kind of mistake. I’ll receive my packages 2 weeks late, broken, or if they are trying to spice it up they will lose it altogether.

I stopped by my local post office and Nate was the gentleman who helped me , he went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was expected helped me close a package even though the older short grey haired lady was loud and rude when she reprimanded him for assisting me with the packaging. She said ( while I was present mind you) “ you shouldn’t pack that box for her it’s suppose to be completed before she gets to the window “ btw the post office was empty but that’s okay that’s what happens when you’re unhappy at work .

Post office never picks up their phone, it just rings and rings or is busy...I asked and was told the phone never rang hm lie. I stood in line calling the post office while in front of the worker and the phone never rang..Seems they took it off the hook or turned ringer off?

This Post Office Front Desk works hard to serve customers! Been using this P.O. for more than 40 years & they go beyond to help people within their needs within their power to do so. Customers forget they are the 'Front' and NOT the home delivery, packers, sorters, etc. I've watched them deal professionally with all types of issues and NEVER have they disrespected nor ignored a person's issue.
