That lady that runs the show here is always so miserable. I was just in with my 6-year-old she can't even smile, I said have a nice day trying to teach her some customer service skills and she just didn't say anything ? she's like this every time we see her ? anybody want a job application

I had a very unpleasant experience with a cashier, an older gentleman, at 1:15 PM today, Saturday, June 22, 2024. As I was checking out, he noticed my American Flag suspenders and Trump hat and made an inappropriate comment, asking, "What would you say if I was voting for Biden?"
This kind of comment was completely uncalled for and made me feel uncomfortable. A cashier's role is to provide customer service, not to engage in political commentary. I hope the management addresses this behavior to ensure a more respectful and professional environment for all customers.

Joann is completely obnoxious and disrespectful to the staff and customers.
You can tell she's alone a lot probably with her cat because she has no idea how to act around people. I don't go in there unless it's absolutely necessary.

I am only giving this one star because of the employee I encountered today 3/28 around 11:30 am. A woman was working checkout - I don’t know her name but an older woman who also works there with short grey hair very loudly in front of customers starts berating the cashier “Why are you standing like that? Why’s your neck like that? You need an ibuprofen - you’ve been standing like this all morning” VERY loud and almost trying to get the line of customers to laugh. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I felt awful for the cashier trying to just do her job. She was very quiet and didn’t react but you could tell she felt embarrassed.
After that a customer with a shopping cart pushed her cart to infront of her and the same lady again very loudly for everyone to hear “you cannot do that it’s a fire hazard!!!!” All she did was move it forward for room to check out and was going to use it again. She did NOT want to hear it.
Whoever this woman is - I forget her name but I believe it starts with a J is unprofessional, rude, and very menacing.

I always seen to find all I need to do my crafts and staff and management always ask where you able to find what you needed,so nice I'd I ever need something I didn't find they look till I'm satisfied very sweet crew that Joann manager is a very fine lady always so helpful

This is by far the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. Unorganized not clean and the people who work there don't care about the customers they only care about unloading a truck and maybe yelling. The store manager is a bitter rude person who does not know how to correctly speak to people. On New Year's weekend there was a line 15 people long and only one register open. The rude manager came up front looked at it and walked away. When people ask if there was another person to open a register they said there wasn't although there were five other people working in the store.

I had a moderately good shopping experience at honesdale dollar tree, however management does not listen to staff, is very loud on the floor, and rude to customers (as well as staff)

I recently had the pleasure of shopping in this Dollar Tree. This is the nicest, cleanest and friendliest Dollar Tree I have ever been in! I had the pleasure of chatting with the store manager, Joann! I complimented her on how fabulous the store is kept. None of the stores near me are this beautiful! Bonus for me, it is had the Dollar Plus Section! ? There are no Plus stores anywhere near me!I will definitely be shopping this store again, the next time I am in your area!Job well done! ??????????
