Overall a great facility in an historic building in South Side Flats: the New Brewhouse 1950, a part of the once thriving Duquesne Brewery Company. CFA has lots of floor space, rig room and equipment. Good parking on the street. This is a warehouse box: old industrial with big garage doors. (My only criticism is that the floor is slightly uneven, but this is unsurprising given the heritage of the building and a small quibble). While we attended an open gym slot, the coach on staff that day, Dylan, was very helpful, assisting my wife with her bespoke HYROX training plan. He ensured that a sled was available and provided my wife with a good space outside to push it as well as coaching tips. I will be back next time I am in the Steel City. Four of five stars only because I didn't attend a regular class and can't comment on the quality of the coaching. Otherwise, I strongly recommend.”
“I joined this gym to get in shape and learn some kettlebell skills and I've got that and more! I've had the pleasure of taking classes with 3 of the coaches and they have all been friendly and professional. The workouts have been tough but the coaches always have ways to adapt the work to your body type and current fitness level. The people at the gym have great as well; it's a cool community of people who are looking to put in the work! Great gym, cannot recommend it to anyone looking to get or stay fit!”
“The PERFECT Stretch. Tried a 25 min stretch at Stretch Lab. Was able to focus on an area during this session. Assisted stretching help move the body and active blood flow! StretchLab helps to increase flexibility, range of motion & energy! StretchLab offers both 25 min and 50 min sessions- both are perfect and come with their own benefits! They offer session packs and monthly memberships.”
“This was my first time at the studio and doing kickboxing in general! Jeff was very thorough and helpful! I had an amazing time and am excited to keep doing this to push myself. The class was also amazing and Kohm was great!”

Erin was super helpful after my first class. She reached out the following day to see if I had any questions and thank us for joining.All of the instructors are great. Seeing as we don’t have a consistent day to go we’ve rotated through a handful. They all have their own unique style and vibe which I love.Great atmosphere and workout if you’re looking to try something new! ??? i usually do the 60 minute class and its a great combination of cardio, boxing, kettlebells and core. Total body workout, who doesn’t love that!”

It completely changed my outlook on working out and for the first time I understand why people enjoy it!I've gone to 3 sessions so far. Chase, Emily, and Jordan (trainers) made it the most welcoming environment which was a huge part of me coming back, since I'm typically timid walking into any gym. On top of all of this, I have never had such a great work out/ have never felt so great after a work out.10/10 recommend.”
“As someone who hasn't been to a gym or has exercised in well over 2 years, it was extremely intimidating starting. Luckily, I had a friend who started going to Burn at the beginning of the year and she mentioned "bring a buddy" camp. I've wanted to try Burn for a while but wasn't sure if the class setting was for me. This "bring a buddy" camp roped me in and helped me get over the hump of actually going. I loved it so much that I signed up for the 3 week promo and then right into a membership!The trainers are top notch and always pushing you harder. The focus meetings are super helpful too! They really help you narrow down your goals and achieve them, one goal at a time.The campers are a bonus! Everyone is so uplifting and friendly. 10 out of 10!”

I am 44 years old and noticed that the home workouts I have always done were not getting me the results that I was looking for. After meeting with Adrian at the gym, I decided to do their 6 week program and have seen major results! I committed to taking classes 3 to 4 times per week and followed the meal plan that was provided for me. In 6 weeks, I feel stronger, I have lost 10 pounds, and my clothes fit better than they have in a long time.I love the variety of class times (they offer 6 class times every weekday!), how every workout feels fun and different, and most of all that I feel challenged and accomplished every time I leave. I am hooked and look forward to where I will be in a other 6 weeks!”

“Wherever you go, the personnel are all the same - top notch, second-to-none. I walked in and immediately knew that I wanted to be a member of this gym in particular. Case in point, "Wendy" couldn't have been more helpful. She was an exemplar in courtesy, professionalism and expedience. I am a tech dinosaur.On startup, smoke occasionally billows out from my computer.My occupational therapist often checks me for opposable thumbs. Wendy told me exactly what to do, in order to change my account. Worked like a charm. The gym itself is in a financially distressed area, but it's like walking into an oasis. This gym screams cleanliness and state-of-the-art equipment. Honestly, I feel fortunate to have discovered this gym.”

The price for a day pass is MORE than reasonable. Older and newer equipment but everything was clean and well kept, the atmosphere and people really made the place as well. “I can’t say enough good things about JAM! I went into my first session not knowing what to expect, as I have been intimidated in the past by fitness instructors who either 1) have the perfect body and you think you could never get there 2) it’s just a job to them and they don’t actually care about you as a person. It’s different here. Jon and Matt are different. They explain the why behind everything we do together, they’ve listened to me and helped me through some stressful days. They provided a balance to my life that I didn’t know I was missing and I am forever grateful. If you’re on the fence, just take the plunge. It’s so worth it. I will share one of the most amazing things that happened to me during my journey here - I spent 3 hours building IKEA furniture and I was PAIN FREE while doing it. That was a HUGE deal for me!! I can’t say thank you enough!!!”

“Based on my experience with Anthony and Mason at Harts Run Fitness, I can confidently say that they are excellent trainers who are dedicated to helping their clients achieve their fitness goals. I approached Anthony almost an year back with severe low back pain, labrum injury and hip impingement syndrome. I found his knowledge and expertise in fitness and exercise exceptional. Until then, my doctors and physical therapists were working on symptom control and planning to consider surgical options if it doesn't work, Anthony talked to me about making me stronger and working on my overall fitness and goals.He created personalized workout plans that catered to my specific needs. He also made me understand proper form and technique, which was essential for ensuring that I got the most out of my workouts. I am glad to say that six months down the line I felt much better and my symptoms were completely under control. “I am not and never have a "gym guy" being a little intimidated by the weightlifters, etc. But this place the staff is so friendly and so nonjudgmental, and every time I walk in and leave, I just feel like I've been with some friends! The facility is always clean and there's always plenty of free machines with very few ever under repair. The only problem is a couple of weeks ago it seems they succumbed to the conservative boycott movement and turnEd one of their CNN TVs into a fox propaganda station (and yes they already had a fox tv) and I'm almost positive the music now seems geared toward maga people. So sad.”
