I went with a group of grad students from CMU. I had never thrown an Axe so didn’t know what to expect but we had a great time! Kee was our instructor and gave clear and approachable instructions. A fun relaxed place for a date night on Valentines! Kee was super informative and chill, and we’d definitely come back again. a bar there with good music and super kind instructors made for a really nice atmosphere!

Nestled in the renovated, 100 year old bank lobby Ace Axe Throwing is Pittsburgh’s most unique throwing spot. Grab some friends, some drinks and get started with a 1 or 2 hour axe throwing session. Your group will be paired with one of our amazing axe coaches to guide your journey from newbie to ace. After brief safety instructions your coach will then run a brief 1-on-1 training with everyone in the group. Here they will observe and make adjustments on your technique, while working with your individual style as needed to make sure that you are sticking some axes. After the training is over, the scoring, games, and trash talk begin!
